Concerning the AEGIS Contract.

I can make assumptions too. I watched AEGIS both in game and on TS after I heard about this contract. The max gang I saw was three in game and most on TS was 5, barely enough for a gang channel. However I just assumed it was an off couple of days. If I was looking at gangs for any kind of contract that enables them to break the law legally it would be one with a fighting chance against against a medium sized gang. Based on my assumptions AEGIS would not be my first choice. 

Ofc the government didn't have any say in who was given the contract which is another can of worms all together. There is a reason that police around the world are not involved in making laws. Just enforcing them.

Im sure we all remember the Pegasus contract, that didn't really go anywhere tbh, that contract was put in place because of a shortage in police control of the island, and even now I still think that is the case, I think its fair to say any contract such as with AEGIS is needed, why? Look at the police channels right now, not a single officer on duty. I can guarantee people are doing drug runs and robbing people right now...

Even if there were 3 or 5 police contracted operators on the server rn, they would be making a difference.

 
Read my message fully. I didn't say only CSO's and PCSO's should do it. That's stupid. What i said is in this server you start as community support, but I never actually see any "community support".

Community support does happen even more recently. Any events and the police most of the time will man it and help out. Talking to locals is somethin that is being done more and more. Ibe done it restart upon restart helping and interacting with the Kavala community, a key name in Athira is FFG. I know you only said you don't see it but it does happen even more nowadays

As I was part of this situation right here let me just clarify something which was told to you ingame aswel by voice (in rp) and by note (sorrounding the uniform)

In this instance right here I both apologized for breaking the aviation law because of the robbery, told you I would take the ticket which you said "it's alright" and I told you in a chat message his uniform had the bug that made it invisible.

CSO's who patrol with SPC+ almost always end up having to wait in a car for half an hour as an operation or gunfight happens..

 
Then sort the police out, this is a police problem not a gang one.

Right, because a few days ago, couple AEGIS members argued really hard with the cops where it was nearly a cluster fuck. I believe Pat Pepper had to take our Captain and one of the AEGIS members to sort it out alone. The problem was nearly out of control that everyone including ASF, AEGIS and a couple of gang members got away with no tickets but their rifles.

 
Just looking through the posts as you said Neo, if this was done in a totally different way the outcome could have been different that's why I'm asking if it would be possible to speak to a management representative to discuss this and make all points come across where all issues about it could be raised?

Go somewhere else, I will talk to these members involved in this as this I'm not aware of.

We did this with the police already. Once again you are not a whitelisted faction so our dealings with your gang will be absolutely minimum unless server rules are being broken.

Its something that we have to deal with, we cant force people to patrol, and we cant just let officers die or let rebels rob the bank, this is why I say we are shorthanded, and officers leave the police on an almost regular basis now. I think the topics bought up in this post should be seen by police command as they can make something happen , because I agree, something needs to be done about it..

Right, cause what I said was hostile..I believe you need to understand what hostile means...also if you dont really want people commenting on your topic, why dont you make it like a private message or something?

 
We as a management team had a discussion and vote on this issue. The decision was made to intervene in the contract as we were not happy with the terms of it, way it was given out and the activity level of the gang it was given to. There is no need for any kind of meeting with regular players regarding this as we already spent several days discussing it with the police. This topic has now had enough of my time so I will no longer respond as we are now going in circles.
