Thanks for the kind words. I actually got three donations in total last night. Very unexpected I'm going to keep donators and amounts anonymous, but am publically very grateful for their contributions. It will keep me in tea and press vests for a while.

I'm really interested in checking out the checkpoint/border from a news point of view.  I've heard about the checkpoint in various places but can't find any hard info about it or its whereabouts.  Can you fill me in on where it is, or point me towards some more info please?

I've had a good root around the forums and I can't seem to find any lore about Altis from the devs.  Is there such a document, explaining how it became UK territory and what the current socio-political situation is etc?  Also, I've read mention of the civil/rebel border in a few threads, but...

I'm at work atm and probably not online this evening.  I don't/can't play every day but will look you up soon for sure.  Just booked Friday off work though, so Thursday night and Friday I will be around some.
