It is a pilots responsibility to message the police before landing in a zone that is protected by aviation law, if the pilot does not do this, warning shots are provided to give them knowledge that they should not be below 300 metres within that zone, or that they should not attempt to land. From this point, the pilot has had 2 failsafes handed to them, 1st one being the option to inform police of their situation and why they are landing, and the 2nd one being warning shots telling them to leave...If the pilot does not issue compliance, the helicopter will be shot down.
