Rebel Life

ive sank way to much time into this server . I can say for a fact that if the stats reset i would never come back and i think alot of people would agree with me

i agree with that as i said alot of people worked there butts off to get what they want and then everything would just be for nothing.

 
We need a rebel rep that can speak on behalf of the rebel community , preferably elected, they get a chance to be in the loop server development wise and get a chance to voice there opinion on up incoming features that might effect rebels, they will also converse with rebels on there opinions aswell, not to say that they have any command over other rebel groups but they can be there as a point of contact for rebels when they have problems with police/NHS/Poseidon.

Its just a thought but I think its something that a lot of people would want given by the amount of feedback I got last time we suggested something like this.

I like your idea of actually giving the group rep thing a use, I think that the Rebel rep should organise meetings with all other group reps , they can organise things such as Treasuries etc and also raise issues with development etc.

What I miss from rebel life is the organised crime I re watched the stone mans guide and it just remained me of times when people would commit crimes for a reason to send a message etc, instead of just out of the blue robbery's and stuff, I think bringing some sort of structure to rebel life will definitively increase its appeal, but the same can be said for both police, I would like to know what sort of secret operations they are currently doing, are they going after anyone? do they have any plans to get into rebel gangs etc, because at the moment everything is random , you see that you can rob aithra bank so you go and do it, theres no operations threes basically no organisation.

 
You can sit and talk about ideas too implement all day long. That does not mean they will be implemented. The bottleneck will always be in the development, thats not a dig at devs by any means as we all know and have heard multiple times that they work for free and very hard at that. We get it. 

Poseidon = OP bored faction

Police = numbers (mostly)

Rebels = none/hobos

Bored faction + faction with numbers = constant shit between the two (as seen in all the reports/ PCC's)

Starting money for rebels was increased previously however queensland runs 100% need a buff. Its 2020 people dont log on to grind runs all day long and if they do they deffo should be rewarded with wealth. 

Shit money from runs + bored faction + numbers in police + hobo rebel gangs = impossible to start up in this server. 

So many issues, you could just go around in circles debating this shit over and over. One thing that should be changed asap is queensland drug run buff. Atleast when new players come on they can make a start and stick around for a while instead of being fucked over and leave. Happens too much. 

Rebels dont fight poseidon for the most part because the faction is full of active lobos/pdf and then pretty much anyone else with a couple of brain cells can get a silenced CAR-95 -1 (beast of a gun) with no recoil and 100rnd mag... why the fuck would a small group of rebels try to fight that?

Anyway, im done. My teachers always said i would use maths one day and here it was.

Apologies, I was only rambling out ideas as examples to encourage people to think of things. Id say if that was a potential idea the community had then, yes but in reduced numbers, please bare in mind while I'm away from the community for the moment I'm not up to scratch with changes. The final alternative is to remove them from everyone and no one regardless of faction, position or tests will get any but I'd prefer making it an equal balanced but also rare for everyone, the main focus would be to make them equal to all factions how though that is done I think would be based on each faction. Well, the NHS is the exception, phoenix and Louie are making morphine rounds somewhere. Now moving to a personal thought I think that mar10 and asp kir should be removed entirely. 

Also, I'm speaking on an entirely personal level and anything I say or ideas come up with do not necessarily represent the views of the staff team

only way to see that happen if its fun to play as a rebel but to make it fun again and that imo needs to come from everyone in the way they play the game. we are all here for some rp a lot or minimum but at least abit. otherwise you would just play some other stuff if you really did not want any rp, thats why i think stuff like deeming people involved and shooting cars and i dont have to listen to your rp when you are robbing something should be changed,. and when i mean you should listen to my rp i dont mean im rping so i win.No go into the rp and win the scenario with words dont just show up and go cba with this stop or be shot. see what the person starting the situation does if his story makes No sense then stop him dont just go well i cba so no. and one thing im done hearing about is well where are your documents for the rp story last time i checked this aint document maker simulator.

More profitable runs is for new people. Everyone says "the server is dieing blah blah blah" people need to be able to make money and feel like they can progress too stay around. Thats for the new people, not the old people in factions like me.. we dont need money 

 
Most of the decent rebel gangs are permed to be honest... There is no fun in rebel. Even if you got old rebels to come back from factions I don't think it would change much because everyone that are in factions are pretty much in the same gang anyways. You've got a large amount of people from GN that are in cops/posiedon and you have large amounts of plebs that are in posiedon/police. The rest of them have either never played rebel or are new to the server. So even if people left it would basically just be 2 gangs going at it again.

What are you talking about?!?! It only took: A Police Holiday Gang, Ground Branch, Ganja Nation & a Pleb to pull of a Casino & get away with 1 of the 2 trucks - Rebel Gangs are at their strongest point every

 
It *only* took 4 gangs to team up to do 1 casino... That isn't called being strong that's just outnumbering and having a little bit of a braincell. Doing hm's and casinos isn't what makes rebel life, creating beef between gangs to spice up the server we had it with plebs last year and they had it with alpha group not long ago. Rebel vs Faction is no good no more and it's definitely getting boring. No one puts the time in to do runs nowadays except the new players and gangs like GN, GB, PLEBS shouldn't or most of them don't rob ppl doing runs either because it makes the new players leave and the big gangs have all the money they need now. I know your definition of "rebel life" is robbing people doing aluminium but that certainly isn't a good way of rebel life. Rebel life lost it's touch when you stopped seeing 6 man convoys of hemmts full of weed with 2 taru's and ifrits following them. When drug runs were actually worth contesting.

i could have done it singlehandedly.

 
So I have recently come back after a year or so of being to busy to play and these are a couple of things I've noticed, now everything I say should be taken with a grain of salt as I'm not back long enough to make any real judgement and playing late at night could be totally different than early evening. 

I seem to be the only person doing runs, I have played maybe 16 to 20 hours in the last 5 days and I have encountered about 5 people doing runs also, usually about 40-60 people on so I would expect to see more doing runs.

There seems to be a lack of mid tier gangs and players, I am at best mid tier, I have enough money that if I get killed a couple of times its not the end of the world and enough trucks that if one or two get scrapped it again is not the end of the world. everyone else I meet seems to be low tier just starting out or high to elite tier just hanging about chatting or fighting in the red zone.

What you can realistically extrapolate from any of that I'm not sure but you need mid level players and gangs as a target for higher level players and gangs, which then forces mid gangs to work together and eventually amalgamating to form a new high tier gang. 

As for low level players and gangs I think you just leave alone, mid or high gangs should not be robbing them while they are doing runs that are not diamonds or something of that ilk, they eventually will be big enough to be considered fair game and the cycle continues.

Now I only have my own experience to go on and as stated its not a whole lot, maybe the server is full of mid tier gangs at 8 pm?

 
@Vespasian server has everything around then like the Orange cap gang, with skills like a High tier gang but gear like a low tier gang, but can still fuck factions up. Teddy the most not hobo, hobo youll ever meet however a lot of runs drop off as its more risky most runs are in the morning for diamonds. at 8pm its a lot of poseidon weed.

 
1) Server stats reset, this will be unpopular but brings everyone onto the same level.
I share everyones opinion on this, is is taking it to the extreme, but something need to be done about the enormous ammount of money on the server. In my opinion, this big ammount of money is really what stops veterans from doing runs/caring about their gear. As a stat reset is too harsh for everyone, be it hobo or veteran, I think just removing part of the money would be enough. A percentage or maybe removing all the money in everyone's accounts over a certain ammount(maybe 15 mil, debatable). This is a middle ground for this, as it doesn't hit veterans too hard, but it still removes the execess money on the server.

Another thing, I know I will get a lot of hate for this suggestion, but i think barns should be nerfed or entirely removed. I haven't owned a barn in some time, so my knowlege of them can be not up to date, but i think one of the reasons most veterans don't do runs is because someone in their gang/ them themselves have one and it is easy money. I know that my line of thought back then was : "Oh, why should i do diamonds where i can get robbed when i can do potatoes with nearly 0 risk". Removing or nerfing them would put a stop to this easy money making method. This, combined with removing all money from people's banks account over 15 mil and buffing drug runs in Queensland would bring back big gangs doing runs.At least in my opinion.

Another nice thing that could be done is to remove Mk-1s. I know that this is a controversial opinion, but this needs to be done. It's a really good weapon and just it's existance leads to more gunfights.

Another nice thing that could be done is to have a community meeting, not necessarily held by staff, maybe just a rebel meeting in which we could all talk and agree on which suggestions are good and which are bad and just present them to the staff/dev team as the collective wish of the rebel community.Maybe we could try this is weekend, just meet on teamspeak and talk(this is just a foolish suggestion of mine, but we could try...)
