Me and this guy had an argument on Gmod, he was like your not playing this game anymore, then he said oh wait your not going to play any games anymore.. and as he said that i was hit offline, im now back up running fine but he hit me off for a good 2hrs :/How do you know it's a DDOS?
I would also suggest getting a reliable VPN, so should you need to go onto a teamspeak that you don't trust, connect to your VPN first, this'll mask your true IP and so if they did try to boot you, so long as they don't have your original one, it wouldn't affect you. After being DDOSed almost every week by this idiot my friend likes I will give you some tips from experience. Make sure you don't go on any TS if you know it is a teamspeak which his friends/someone that will give him an IP is an admin on the TS as it is soooo easy to get your ip. Same applies for game servers and skype. Like Wilco said if you are on BT there should be a button on the back of your router, restart it or shut it down for a bit and hopefully your Ip will change if it isn't static. I like to know what they are doing so maybe look up how to do it so you know ways they are doing it then say to yourself in most cases this will do nothing but prevent my internet for a while.
genuinely interested how did you sort that out ?In my case I connect to my router via a wireless dongle, so I can mess with some configuration settings in there and receive a different IP too.
I wish I could do that omg, ohh wait nevermind.
It's actually easier than you think... all you have to do is have no idea about the difference between WAN and LAN, and then just do this:I wish I could do that omg, ohh wait nevermind.
