Call up your ISP, if they simply change your IP it would stop the attack until your attackers find out your new IP.

The thing is I'm only 16 and it's all under my parents name :/ looks like I'm gonna be offline for the night

If your with BT turn off your router for 5 mins and turn it back on.

If you have a static IP then unfortunately your going to have to wait for your parents to assist you or until it stops.

If your sure it's a Ddos attack then Don't add people to Skype you don't 100% trust and don't join teamspeak servers you don't know.

Retrace your steps what have you been upto tonight besides Altis life ?

15min for timeout I believe but yeah do what wilco said!

How do you know it's a DDOS?

Me and this guy had an argument on Gmod, he was like your not playing this game anymore, then he said oh wait your not going to play any games anymore.. and as he said that i was hit offline, im now back up running fine but he hit me off for a good 2hrs :/

unplug router for 15 mins next time, usually tells booter "tango down"

After being DDOSed almost every week by this idiot my friend likes I will give you some tips from experience. Make sure you don't go on any TS if you  know it is a teamspeak which his friends/someone that will give him an IP is an admin on the TS as it is soooo easy to get your ip. Same applies for game servers and skype. Like Wilco said if you are on BT there should be a button on the back of your router, restart it or shut it down for a bit and hopefully your Ip will change if it isn't static. I like to know what they are doing so maybe look up how to do it so  you know ways they are doing it then say to yourself in most cases this will do nothing but prevent my internet for a while.

I would also suggest getting a reliable VPN, so should you need to go onto a teamspeak that you don't trust, connect to your VPN first, this'll mask your true IP and so if they did try to boot you, so long as they don't have your original one, it wouldn't affect you.

Don't add people to your skype that you don't know/trust as people can grab your IP from there. (I would also look up how to configure your skype to show a fake IP address)

As Wilco said unplugging your router for a short amount of time usually stops the booter if you have a dynamic IP as it will issue you another IP address variation.

In my case I connect to my router via a wireless dongle, so I can mess with some configuration settings in there and receive a different IP too.

The bottom line is, it's extremely easy to DDoS someone, and extremely difficult to avoid, you just have to be smart about these things, think of it as something along the lines of walking down a dodgy street, if you have your wits about you in the first place, you're prepared for this type of thing.

SOURCE: Used to be a well known Minecraft streamer on a competetive PvP server, lost count of the amount of people that attempted to DDoS me to get me out of matches.
