Firstly, I'd like to thank those that applied to the data-analyst position!

We've decided on 3 people, and this will be announced soon enough,

For the time being, I need your opinions of the updates to the economy (finances and levels), especially those playing for the first time.

Tell me about;

  • How you started (whether new or returning)
  • Where you got stuck
  • Where frustration was caused
  • A suggestion on how you'd make that part of life easier, without destabilising the economy.
I really appreciate any feedback we can receive to make your life better.

Many Thanks

Neo & Genesis.

will look into map and compass.

So, after the update, I have to say things are a lot better. Things are on the right direction, keep up the work @Neo

That said, there are a couple of things that I believe could be tweek at,

  • The Price of clothing is quite high, as said above
  • Some runs offer a little like of XP, I.E Logging (I'll get some more info on it)
  • The wages for police could be a little higher, so as to buy defib kits and give money for RP/Events
  • Burn the Quad bike
Overall, the update has made my civ life a lot easier, and less stressful.

Great update.

I noticed there was a dramatic change in the ********** Weights from last night, and could today stack my Offroad with 115 ********** .. compared to only 20 ********** last night. Though, I was given almost the same amount of ********** from all the**********. Resulting in the pay for my ********** rotation to be the same when I sold the ********** - but my EXP income to be significantly increased when I refined the vast amount of **********.

Something I assumed not to be quite right.

Earlier today I brought Genesis on a ********** trip in my Offroad and told him about this. When he could see for himself, Genesis and I also tried out **********. Genesis reported the same issue. He spoke to TinyBigJacko about this so I think they have more information.

I have not had the chance to test any of the other materials yet, but other than the ********** Weights having been changed so drastically, I want to say it is a positive update and in the right direction!

I have been grinding for almost a week now, starting as a fresh new spawn .. and how things looked before the update was a bit too unforgiving, but now it is more valuable for roleplay economy and I don't think it will discourage anyone from playing. It is good to see these improvements and look forward to see what comes of the future!

i've hidden out the info about whats bugged at the moment, this was a fault of a script I've written.

will be fixed at 8 (hopefully)

@Neo... my only issue is with the plane price ...
why is it set to 250,000 ? ... and not something like 55,000 ?

Regarding other changes, awesome work, while all combines together, might have made things a bit easy, but it will surely get rebels armed and engaging cops and getting the entire tanoa fired up in no time :)

I have noticed 2 areas where, in my opinion, could be improved:

- The cost of processing without a license is too great. It costs more per ingot to process than they are worth.

- Marijuanna which loose xp, make less money than copper in terms of weight.

Other than that the economy is looking quite balanced in my opinion.

I took a LOT of input from the tanoa playerbase in regards to what they believed was fair,  this is 750,000 cheaper than it used to be.

I went around today and a lot seems improved, asking some new players about how they felt I got the impression of general confusion of where to go or what to do, starting off at the airport on chap seemed annoyed on paying £188 for a quad bike, he also didn't know that coconuts would not give him XP nore cover the cost for the rental.

I think make it more easier for players starting out, lower quad bike prices massively.

I also had no idea that other resources gave more XP than others!

-------------------------------------------------------------

I feel A basic explanation of where to go and what to do should be added

adding in

- The amount of Xp each resource give you

- What's need for that e.g Pick axe, £3000 training.

Surely a few lines can't be hard to add?

I myself experienced this frustration joining so for new players it must be a struggle.

Other than that everything seemed to be ok!

I disagree with lowering Quad Bikes massively. It will makes people not care at all about crashing or dying.

I do believe that players should be able to enter the game and understand their goal without needing to watch a tutorial, but at the same time, don't want to see them handheld, you know?

Can we have an NPC that has FAQs in his chat options?

Ok - Copper just got updated to 5 units of weight, up from 1 unit (originally 4 units). Now in 15 minutes one can complete a sugar run getting £240, then doing a mango run on the way back to sugar getting a further £204 - totalling £444/15 minutes or £1776/Hour. With the new copper update, i can make £612 with the same weight of item however this takes 25-30 minutes, assuming this takes only 25 minutes i can be expected to get £1468/Hour doing copper. Copper requires a license costing £3100 whereas Sugar and mangos do not, Sugar is also much safer as it is closer to the common police patrols and closer to many ATM's and gas stations. There is litterally no reason now to do copper as it is worse in every way than sugar.

in regards to copper, this was due to it being weight 1 earlier on, so many people abused it and only 1 or 2 people came and actually told us about it.
