Cutlass
Arising from the power vacuum left behind by turf disputes around Forum Drive, a group of Machette-wielding gangsters formed to be known as "Cutlass". The ever-increasing violence and police presence within Forum Drive led the gang leaders to relocate and expand further afield. Settling on Roy Lowenstein Blvd road between Green dominated "Grove Street" and Yellow James Town "Vagos", Cutlass refers to this area as "Gaza". Dagger tattoos, desert camo and bleached brown vehicles are ways to identify Cutlass members.
"Ka$h" and a band of Captains (aka 300s) has formed an operation which quickly developed into a multi-million-pound criminal enterprise. Drugs, Guns and Extortion are a major part of the Gang's operations.
In a hostile environment, Cutlass has managed to remain standing through several battles with much larger and better-equipped organizations. Gaining them notoriety amongst the greater population of the City. No longer situated on the Gaze strip but now fronted by the Popular Street "Videogeddon "Arcade, Cutlass aims to expand the business and become ranked amongst the officials.
THE BOOK OF KASH
Warning this is for enterntainment purposes only and not there to affend any persons. The book is from the point of view of Kash's Cutlass life.
Chapter 1 - Before Gang.
Kane Kash was born in 1995 in Kingston, Jamaica. He moved to Los Santos in 2021 and found himself living on Forum Drive, which is known for being a rough area. One day, he happened to run into a priest named Father Augustus, and the two of them got to talking. This experience helped him learn some basic street hustling skills and connect with people who could help him start selling weed. However Kash had to return to Jamaica for an unexpected family emergency. He resided there for a year before returning to the Los Santos, Forum Drive.
He returned to the city with a renewed sense of purpose and anticipation for the future. Kash was enjoying himself at Legion Square one day when he got into a fight with some rowdy teenagers. The bystanders were laughing at him, but Kash was determined to show them that he's not someone to be taken lightly. One of the bystanders who befriended Kash was "Gambino", a certified gangster around the southside. Eventually, they became close friends. Gambino already had a network of connections in the city, and so he introduced Kash to a Baller member, who Kash would then refer to as "Balla B". Through that connection, he was able to accommodate small arms deals.
Kash quickly became familiar with cocaine, as times had changed and weed was no longer the desired drug. Many of the friends he used to know had been incarcerated or killed, so the fear of the same happening to him loomed over his head. To escape the paranoia he tried to become legitimate.
Chapter 2 - The Formation.
Kash enrolled in a legal program to become a mechanic in order to improve his life and avoid jail. With the gift of a Transit van from "Father", he was able to do freelance mechanics around the city and provide a high-quality service. This gained the attention of an auto exotic employee, "Lewis". Kash got a job at one of the city's most popular garages "Auto Exotic", thanks to Lewis's reference. Kash was excited to start working and looked forward to learning more about the garage and the vehicles that it serviced. This job allowed him to meet many interesting people, such as the owners Jeep and Miguel who shared helpful information about the city's operations. The Business was run very efficiently, and this impressed him; he would later implement some of the same principles in the Gang's operations.
Kash would leave work and head back to Forum Drive, where many of his neighbors would be engaging in criminal activities that he had once been accustomed to. They would often arrive in fancy cars and bikes, presenting an incredibly alluring lifestyle. After working at the garage for a while, it became clear that his income as a mechanic wasn't as great as it could be when compared to dealing drugs.
He began by paying Mr. Singh outrageous fees for small packets of cut cocaine, but he was still able to sell it and turn a profit.
During this period, Kash discovers "Frank and Joe," two high-ranking Hustlers, stranded miles away and escorts them home after an unplanned meeting. Because of this tiny act, he was able to make acquaintances and obtain more cocaine for less money. Kash gathered a couple of his Forum Drive dealer friends since he realised he would need a crew to move more stuff. Scouse Billy and "Ant," who Kash dubbed "Posh" because to his propensity for wearing tailored suits, are notable members.
They would deal kilos of cocaine around Forum Drive, mostly with machetes. Kash would insist on the gang using the Machette because it is inexpensive and effective. Manchettes are commonly referred to as "Cutlass" by Jamaicans, and the gang would become famous for using them later on. Because the area's major gangs were not as active during this time, several small groups formed in amongst a vacuum of power.
Cutlass got into a fight with one of the new Forum Drive groups, "The Jenkins". A week-long feud erupted, with attacks from both sides.
This culminated in Cutlass kidnapping and robbing Jenkins member Frank Smith.
Kash disliked the attention the feud managed to draw from the police, so he moved to the Boulevard east.
Kash referred to this road, which was in the middle of two factions, as the "Gaza Strip," a Jamaican ghetto that was named in the context of the Israeli conflict.
As a result, the gang began to wear blue head scarves, or "Keffiyehs," as a symbol of Gaza.
Cutlass was able to thrive in this area because they were at peace with both "Grove" and "Vagos," and they quickly gained many members, including their previous enemy "Frank Smith," who later took on a high-ranking role.
This was the first time Kash had met his trusted friends "Craig David" and "Big L' Lewis", who impressed him with their speedy cocaine flips.
They eventually rose to the position of Cutlass Captain, 300's, and gained notoriety in the criminal underworld.
Kash started conducting "Cutlass Deliveries" by purchasing the cheapest smoothies from Sandy Shores and selling them from his van in the city at a reduced price due to the steadily rising earnings.
As he moved around the city in his gleaming Green Transit hawking smoothies, he would run into all different kinds of people, expanding his network of contacts to whom he could purchase or sell anything.
People like "Wez" from Vagos played a significant role in the delivery of more powerful weapons.
