We robbed the bank and had to hide inside the dome, the police gassed us so we couldnt even see our own guns in our hands then they walked in and killed us instantly without even saying a single word.

Just a pure execution with absolutely zero roleplay, we were helpless as we were pretty much blind and we straight away stopped firing.

I lost about 100k worth of kit because of pure lack of roleplay goin on.

 
The roleplay is the shooting on sight during bank robberies. In real life, you really think cops trying to prevent a bank robbery against armed robbers are going to stop for a chat?

The tear gas thing is bullshit though, that I agree with. I hear they are getting rid of it, at the very least stopping using it during the robbery.

 
Ok I partially agree with what your saying but we were blinded and I honestly couldn't even make out my own rifle, how is it far for cops just to execute us when they could've restrained us as we couldn't even see.

 
No, I've noticed this behavior from the cops as well. We tried a bank robbery with hostages and the cops shot the hostages on site, we even told them and sent text messages that we had hostages and if they fired we would kill the hostages. The cops killed the hostages before we could even do it, that is not roleplay like behavior.

Yea I've heard about that happening a few times now, but we were trapped in the dome completely blind, not as if we could go anywhere at all and we never heard them speak a single word, but I killed one so I'm not too bothered

 
It would be nice to be able to enter a dialog with the police and possibly get out unharmed whenever you use hostages as leverage.

 
I understand your frustration but dont generalize every cop based on other cop's actions.

I do feel the server needs more RP, but whats the proof we have that the "hostages" are not your friends?

Maybe if you had a COP hostage, things would be different.. non the less we are working into implement the roleplay factor even more on the new recruits.. it does take time.

I would ask you before shouting in forums about cops, report them to the right people with names and proof.. and i'm pretty sure the situation will be dealt with.

 
It kinda blows as 3 gas grenades was pumped in blinding us for several minutes. I expected to be restrained but instead insta death.

No quarter shall be shown in same situation.

It's hard to get the names of the cops when there is a gunfire going on, so writing down the names while trying to juggle surviving isn't realistic. Even if they are our friends, it doesn't change anything... Even if you know from past meetings, that is meta gaming which is not allowed on the server. If someone holds a hostage there needs to be dialouge, not shooting said hostages in the face without a single warning. Plus, providing proof isn't always that easy, we can't have fraps constantly running, most of us don't have a copy of fraps that can record for longer than 30 seconds and we shouldn't really need to pay for a copy of fraps.

It all comes down to realistic playing, no cop, at least in the west, would shoot a hostage on sight. Even if they did think that they were friends of the robbers. I'm not attacking cops in general but it's that a general behavior on the cop's side is to attack first and not ask questions later.

just a tip for the recording part if you have a Nvidia graphics card use shadowplay.

The only possible way we could take a cop hostage is if we have cable cuffs ourselves, otherwise he's just gonna run off as soon as we turn our backs.

Yea i really like it just press a button to save the last 20 minutes if something happened :D
