So I finally got around to it and bought myself a new desk. After reading through a few other posts I got the recommended Piranha Unicorn 21G Corner desk, and it's pretty much an amazing replacement.






Plenty of room now to have the PC and server on the desk, as the server was getting quite dusty sitting on the floor, the switch connecting my pc, and the server to the router made it onto the desk and out of the cupboard, and now I have space at my desk for my work laptop whenever I'm working from home. Ace.

2007 Subaru Impreza WRX 2.5L Turbo Petrol 'Hawkeye' in Platinum Silver. I've owned this car for nearly 3 years having bought it after graduating from university as a gift to myself.

Standard, it was putting out 218hp/255lb-ft at the wheels when it was Dyno'd on a rolling road. Since then it's hada few minor upgrades and tweaks:

  • Hayward & Scott Afterburner 2.5" Sports-Cat Downpipe
  • Hayward & Scott Afterburner 2.5" De-resonated Center Section
  • Hayward & Scott Afterburner Vortex 2.5" Angled backbox with 5" slash-cut tip
  • HKS Foam Reusable air filter
  • Rear Lambada Sensor Soft-Removal
  • Custom open-source ECU remap 
  • Lowered slightly at the rear
It's scheduled to go in for another Rolling-Road Dyno Day next month for another measure of the power since having it mapped, but the estimated power is around 250-260 hp and 350-400lb-fit of torque at the wheels.

Splurged a bit and decided to get some fancy items that i might not use to full capacity now, but will keep me ticking over. Remember: Dont build a PC for today - Build it for tomorrow!

  • 16GB DDR3-1600 Corsair Vengence + Mushkin BlackLine Memory
