Xmas pc settup

This is my pc settup, I know that the desk is dusty and the photo might not be good because I Put my phone in water to see if it was water proof and it was.

Pc specs:

CPU: i3 8100

GPU:Aorus gtx 1060 6gb

MotherBoard: Z370-A Pro

PSU: Corsai 550 80+gold

Case: NZXT S340

Ram: 16 GB DDR 4 2400Mhz (2x8GB Sticks)

Monitor - BenQ GW2470 Low blue light Eyecare with speakers

Laptop specs:

CPU: I7 6700HQ
GPU: GTX 960M 2gb
Ram: 8gb DDR3 1333 Mhz
I don't know the rest of the specs and cba to look it up.

Nice! What is you're pc specs. I am thinking of getting 2 more monitors but I don't have the space. That is why the pc is on the desk and not the floor.

I5-7600K (Brilliant processor for price-work load cost)

1050TI (Soon to be a 1070TI)

16GB Corsair DDR4 @ 3000MhZ

And all the other malarky, 2TB blah blah! 

2 Monitors are absolutely great

With the current GPU prices being stupidly messed, i'm going to get a 1070TI & just overclock for near 1080 performance.

The 1070ti to 1080 price comparison is stupid, considering i can OC to nearly a 1080 performance! 

But hell yeah dude, good luck getting that 1080!

First thing I did when I got my 1070TI was overclock it. But tbf even without overclocking its still a good card !

Their brilliant little cards, but i'm so gutted i cannot find one for MSRP! 

What speeds are you card currently clocking?

I can't help but think why a 1080 when you have an i3 and 8gb of RAM? 1070 maxes out pretty much everything at 1080p (which is what you are running) so i don't quite understand why you would upgrade that rather than your CPU or less importantly your ram?

My laptop has 8 my pc has 16 and the 1060 bottlenecks the i3 8100

But why spend money on a 1080 for 1080p gaming which is overkill in a market where GPU's are already ridiculously overpriced?
