Yep - all depends on the market price of salt at the time. Press 'Y' in game and click on Market, there you can see the price for refined salt. It starts at 1k per salt at restart i think, and then does down a little with each sale. The more people doing salt, the less it's worth.

Salt when it is refined is 1, so you get 800 in hemet at good price youre getting 1.2 mil for full box... but you need to keep filling it and storing to get full truck

when you process salt it will weigh less so if you have a house near salt you can store the refined salt each time and keep doing more runs until your house has enough refined salt to fill your truck.If you do it normally and just process and sell you wont get a lot of money because the weight lowers and the truck will have lots more avalible room.
