wish cops would rp more :/ ?

is it me or does anyone else think that some police are abit too trigger happy?

i just had a massive car chase for ages so could of just jumped right out and started shooting but i decided to try and rp as much as possible and i clearly shouted ''don't draw your guns or ill shoot you'' and could of killed them both really easily and without saying one word then just shot and killed me.. 

i wasn't recording nor can i remember the names but its cops like that that make me want to rage quit at times haha 

i was really hoping for a bit of decent combat rp from a officer for once like hiding behind cars negotiating but no not a word said from them and it really killed the vibe i was aiming for.

oh well, just thought id have a little rant ans surly im not the only person with this view??  

 
There are a few individuals that seem to forget that it is a game, Most of the police I've met have RP'd really well but there is the odd few that just shoot on sight and never really engage in a scenario. 

 
You're making a very large assumption in that post...

I'm not a trigger happy cop and I enjoy RPing (Although as a CSO i'm not allowed to carry a firearm ;) )

Most of us enjoy rping.

 
i know i know..

most of the police are great but there's nothing more annoying and joy killing when your on a long chase and as soon as you get out you car you get shot dead without a word being said from them. but then if it happens again and i shoot them and dont say a word they'll have a little bitch fit and report me :') 

 
well its better than just doing it is it not? i was trying to rp by saying dont draw your guns at me or ill shoot you.

its not call of duty you know..  i take it it was you then that killed me?

 
If you point a firearm at a police officer, that gives the police officer the right to fire at you. 

 
this chat is abit biased to be fair as your all cops lol but yeah no well same applies when a police officer points his gun at me after a 10 minute chase.. but the reason why i didn't shoot was because i wanted me and the police to rp but they must of thought they was still on a first person shooter

 
Well, the police have rubber bullets, the rebels have lethal.

 
To be fair Id much rather shoot someone with rubber bullets but rebels get no choice in that so we have to warn and warn again and then still get reported for rdm where as police seem to just do whatever they feel like.

Yeah this chat is a bit biased to be fair as you are all rebels. Of course it always has to be some sort of a bias when we comment on something that may have triggered the cop's response to kill you.

erm if you look when i actually said that there was liek 4 cops and 2 nhs personal 'trying' to make sense of why they would do that 

 
Here's an idea, next time rather than jumping out and aim at the cops.  If you want to RP try jumping out and threaten to shoot yourself instead since your suicidal.  I bet that would be a different experience all together. 

 
So part of this is actually touching on the rubber bullet gun issue again. As I've stated before the mandatory warning to fire a weapon regardless of non-lethal would end that discussion. Bear in mind T4FFY did give his warning and initiated the RP which lead to him being shot.

Additionally Bob your statement of "Don't they fire anyway?" in regards to rebels it is RDM and that is why the non-lethal issue was risen as police use it. You are also using pluralis which the police do not like being used on them. We do not like it being used on us either,so please don't use it.

I dont know if you watch the recommend a player section but there are lots of examples of our RP in there. Up to 50% of all recommend a player threads are about the police.

 

If you have a genuine concern about individuals I suggest you take names and screenshots and post them in the police complaint commission for us to investigate because threads like these are just generalisations and even some of the police posting here are tarring a whole group of people with them. Not being specific really pisses me off.
