Gourvo and ORC was banned from the community today, I do not usually explain our bans, but considering these guys were here for a long while, if you might be wondering where they was gone, here it goes.
Gourvo and ORC was banned from the community today.
Gourvo created the firm on the server which was the name of his community with the same forum layout and theme as us, We approached him about this and he closed down his community advising he was just doing a private project... not open publicly.
Over the past few weeks when we have released updates Gourvo has then took to the AltisLifeRPG asking for help making these features like "bounty hunters" and "robbable npcs" no doubt because he was unable to get Ciarans' custom code working which is mainly server-side.
Ciaran kindly opened up the chance for gangs to design there own bases, Gourvo decided to abuse this twice by firstly creating a massive base the size of a airfield with some messed up code that would cause server performance issues (radars), When i approached him he then worked on a second base where he put AI snipers designed to attack blufor if they approached his base.
Gourvo apparently done this as a "joke", I see this more as an insult trying to creep something in under our very good nature.
Today Gourvo was sat in our teamspeak while on his new server, when approached about his server on steam got very defensive about it and would not give me a straight answer.
His friend ORC then called our admins corrupt, to me that is very insulting to people I have trusted here for a very very long time.
Decisions was then made to ban these people who clearly have other motives here, We have had this happen to us before in the past by Blackkitty and this time we were very quick to spot the same signs.
Advertising and recruiting is not tolerated here unless its for something connected with this server like your own gang etc.
EDIT - Gorvo is now sending a nice edited pastebin around to anyone he can find on teamspeak, Half the text is missing... But hey i am not going to defend my decision... we made the right one for our community.
