Radio sound effect mods, I like em :3 I don't use them for normal conversations, that gets on my tits. But if I'm on duty as a medic I do use em, just gets me in the roleplaying mood

It's a combination of a few things.

The tinny effect that gets put on everyone's voice is called Crosstalk, it's usually meant to allow 3D sound in games; but Arma uses ACRE instead. It's fully customisable with how people can sound, you can make them sound really radio-ified or make them sound only slightly tinny like mine.

The radio beeps before people talk is Nextel's police beeps soundpack. To have them, you need to go into your options and enable mic clicks (its in playback, make sure you have both mic click options ticked). Then you need to actually enable his sound pack, as the default teamspeak radio clicks are shite.

Crosstalk is a plugin, so installs like so. With Nextel you need to copy the final folder to your soundpacks directory.
