What Anime do I watch!?

Hello,

I've been watching a ton of Anime recently but I've hit a wall since I have no clue what to watch. I only watch Anime's with 12-24 episodes so does anyone know of any really good ones? No milked ones like Sword Art Online though :)

a few obvious ones are Attack on titan, Tokyo ghoul, Parasyte and maybe Fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood (which has like 65 episodes i know, it's just so incredibly worth it) i personally also really enjoyed nisekoi and high school of the dead. Furthermore, there is the amazing Fate series, tengen toppa gurenn lagan and code geass, now my personal fav is One Piece, but somehow i am guessing you won't really be into that haha

I don't know much about anime, but i had a friend that hooked me in a serie that i watched called "Schooldays", and that's actually the nickname we give him.

I didn't watch alot of animes, but i'll put the ones i enjoyed the most in my best order:

  • Full Metal Alchemist: No words, you NEED to watch it, no but's  or if's.
          No trailer for this one, i don't want you to get spoilers and there's no trailer out there that matches the greatness of this anime.

  • Shingeki No Kyojin (Attack On Titans) - This one was fighting the top spot with Full Metal Alchimist, but they are both dear to my heart. this is one awesome anime filled with action packed animations that will blow your mind. Just watching the trailer gives me goosebumps, can't wait for the new second season.

Full Metal alchemist is great, an absolute must!

 I used to really enjoy watching Trigun as well though it's more than 12 episodes. God damn i want that red Duster.

I need the second season of Attack On Titan.

Also, Death Note is a good watch.

 
I'll list some good ones I've watched, I'm specifically putting down animes with 12-30 episodes (with the exception of Brotherhood since its amazing) that have complete story lines, I don't want to leave you on an anime with a cliffhanger that will be resolved in 2017.

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood,
64 Episodes, but it's goddamn worth it. Make sure its Brotherhood though, not the other version.

Steins;Gate,
24 Episodes, Delusional scientist accidentally makes a microwave that can send messages back in time.

Cowboy Bebop,
26 Episodes, Bounty Hunter / Space Cowboy, cult classic, definitely worth a watch.

One Punch Man,
12 Episodes (Currently Airing), Guy looking for tough people to fight, his only problem, he  can defeat everyone with a single punch.

Parasite: The Maxim,
24 Episodes, Guy wakes up one morning with an alien parasite living in his hand.

Psycho-Pass,
22 Episodes (Season 1, but a complete story. Not watched Season 2 yet). Dystopian future where it's almost pre-determined who is going to be a criminal.

Samurai Champloo,
26 Episodes, 3 strangers meet and end up travelling to find a samurai who smells of sunflowers. (Lame description but it's really really good).

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex,
26 Episodes, Elite Police Unit tracking down a Mysterious Hacker Criminal.

Beserk,
25 Episodes, Much Darker, Adult anime, follow the story of Guts, a young powerful mercenary that teams up with a mysterious bandit leader.

Black Lagoon,
24 Episodes (2 series), an office worker gets held for ransom and eventually starts working with a group of mercenaries who took him.

Darker than Black,
24 Episodes (First series only), Mysterious gate appears, and people called Contractors gain super powers. (Lame Desc, but quite good).

I think In my opinion the best anime that is relatively short (under thirty episodes) is Stein's Gate starts out as a complete mind fuck but after 3 episodes you just get so drawn in by all the characters and really feel for them, absolutely amazing couldn't recommend enough.

 
Nanatsu no Taizai is very good if you have not watched this already. Also if you are into sports anime, Baby steps is an incredibly good tennis related anime.

 
Hunter x Hunter pretty long but awesome as fuck!
One Piece fucking long but fucking great!
Fairy Tale watched only few episodes its good and worth atleast start watching, there is no million episodes ;)



 
Only thing I've watched was a Manga called Cyber City Oedo 808, It's insanely violent, lots of swearing and jokes but funny as hell.
