Warehouses

My suggestion is to introduce a Warehouse System, similar to the existing housing system, where players can purchase warehouses that come with their own unique interiors and customizable options.

Here are the key features and mechanics of the Warehouse System:

Warehouse Acquisition:

Players will have the opportunity to buy warehouses located throughout the city. These warehouses will be available for purchase from designated locations or auction houses, adding a sense of exploration and competition for acquiring the best ones.

Interior Customization:

Just like the housing system, warehouses will come with an empty interior that players can personalize. They will have the freedom to place furniture, storage units, decorations, and other interactive elements within the warehouse. This customization will allow players to create their own unique storage space or even design a mini hideout.

Ownership and Access:

To facilitate interaction and collaboration, players will have the ability to designate other players as owners or keyholders of their warehouses. By granting ownership, designated players will be able to enter the warehouse, interact with certain objects like weed plants, or move/place furniture. This feature encourages cooperative gameplay and provides opportunities for social interactions within the game.

Limit and Taxation:

To maintain balance and prevent monopolization, players will be limited to owning only one warehouse per person. Additionally, to simulate the maintenance costs associated with owning property, warehouses should have a monthly tax requirement. If players fail to pay their taxes within a specified timeframe, their warehouse will go up for sale again, creating a dynamic market for warehouses and ensuring active ownership.

Implementing this Warehouse System will bring several benefits to the game:

Player Engagement:

The ability to personalize and manage a warehouse will provide players with an additional avenue for self-expression and creativity. This feature will attract and retain players who enjoy customization and base-building mechanics.

Social Interaction:

Allowing multiple players to access a warehouse will foster community engagement and cooperative gameplay. Players can collaborate on projects, organize storage, and create shared spaces for group activities.

I believe that the Warehouse System, with its unique customization options, collaborative gameplay features, and economic dynamics, will greatly enrich the gameplay experience and provide a new layer of depth for players to explore.

Sounds like a good idea, except the weed part they would just get raided alot, the placing of all that furniture would be a drag on resources, the way it is for houses it's like they are all instanced so it don't need to load over 1000 houses full of random stuff all the time, unless you mean for it to work exactly like houses do?

I would imagine most would also say there is allready containers you can buy

Shame is Is nice and as good as this does sound they will all be swallowed up by gangs in the first few hours and cost millions to buy one from another player like containers, if it was done say so you needed to apply to the government to take ownership of one of them to keep it regulated then sure +1 otherwise if it's a free for all finders first then nope as it will just be chaos

Yeah, it would be instanced like the housing is so the interiors are only loaded when someone is inside.

Government could auction them and if tax isnt paid the same way you pay house tax then it would go back to the government to be put back up for auction.

Auction would be like only the super rich would buy them, apply for one then yea sure

So you would need to awnser questions like why do you want this, what is the purpose to use the building those kinda things, auctions are just going to have people turn up with 30mil and outbid anyone unfortunately

if implemented it would most likely be sold through CoC
it's a building, not a small storage container somewhere.

Why would it be the CoC? An empty warehouse isn’t a business, so no commerce?

Most likely because they would be considered use for buisness purposes, like myself with shires it would work quite nicely to have a proper Wearhouse and enable to have employees I can let in/out access

Wearhouse would become more for buisness and containers for the off the grid illegal use they were probably intended for

you're buying a entire building, if it's not CoC selling to you it would be someone else govermental wise

would probably also ensure that everyone gets a shot at possibly getting one
