Make it so you cant speak in character select. The amount of times i've been ear raped is insane and the kids just keep shouting.

+1 , I've heard some racist slurs being thrown down there too and I couldn't do anything, you can't get their ID's or identify who that person is, really frustrating and annoying.

Already a suggestion and currently the highest voted! It is indeed awful when connecting and rather embarrassing new players are first exposed to this.
