Arma 3 EULA Agreement
Recently as some of your are aware Tonic was contacted by Bohemia Interactive, Tonic decided to remove the donator system from new builds of Altis Life and linked the server community to this post from Bohemia http://www.bistudio.com/english/community/game-content-usage-rules.
We wont be upgrading to the new Altis Life as our own version as moved on in leaps and bounds away from the basic core however donations is a massive part of any community and servers do not come cheap.
We value Bohemia and Arma 3 and without it Altis Life or our community would not be possible so we decided to act fast and become the first community of this size to take action and comply with the EULA agreement.
As you know we have never been in this for the money unlike some other community's and we find great pride in complying with this agreement, We are in this for the long haul and at the time of posting our main server is ranked 11th in the world out of all Arma 3 servers, We are serious about AltisLife.co.uk and I know we add value to the Arma 3 community.
The VIP Club
This morning our new VIP Club donator system went live which you can see more details about here.
Not only is this a much better and fairer package for the wider community having access to all content on the server it also brings a nice balance to our game play with a hope that due to the new gun prices people will roleplay and value there life more.
There have already been some questions so I will try and answer them here.
Why have the gun prices increased? Our gun prices have always been one of the cheapest in the Altis life community after a few weeks of careful reviewing and checking out the top 10 Altis Life servers our gun prices are still cheaper than some of the bigger community's and average across them all.
I hope people now value there life more and can see more roleplay before killing as a result of this change.
Why are the new prices aimed at donators ? Simple answer they are not, We have always given donators cheaper prices, Now we cannot give them exclusive items such as the Mohawk, Hatchback sport and some other stuff we continue to give them cheaper prices, I have also brought down the normal prices (Non VIP Club) of items to a level cheaper than they were prior to this update with the exception of the Mohawk.
I am I able to share VIP Club items with my friend ? Of course you are! We value your support and hope your friend enjoys our server. Please remember to remind them if they like the endless hours of work we all put in here to either spread the word or consider supporting themselves.

We now fully comply with there terms as well as giving Credit to Tonic and our in house legend TinyBigJacko.
Wilco's on Holiday
In a few hours I fly out to my much awaited Holiday on the island of Kos in Greece to have some real life Altis life time with the girlfriend.
I did try to get a nice fully inclusive package to Altis (Lemnos) but there wasn't any good resorts there... maybe one day!
In my absence TinyBigJacko is in full control with his trusted sidekick Mr Cardoso... I expect nothing but the community to go to pieces in my absence and to come back to a shell of once was a brilliant community!
A big Thank you to them for this and a big Thank you to every single person that comes here daily and for making this enjoyable for everyone else and myself.
