And that's why I think you're toxic, not because you report people.

The report function is there for a reason and there as actually a question : 'Did you try and resolve it with the person before hand'? it does not state you have to and many people don't.

The reason I reported them was because A) I believed they were rule breaks and I have full right to report them based on that B) Trying to resolve things on teamspeak doesn't often end well and many of the reports had to be dealt with on an official level otherwise people don't learn from them.

You are purely basing your posts on the fact that I reported you, if I hadn't I doubt this would be happening. As I said only two reports out of them were dismissed, one as a miscommunication and the other as a fault on my part.

I am not being rude when I say this, but you have posted your opinion, we dont need to turn this into a flame war between me and yourself so please remain respectful and allow others the chance to speak :)

As I said previously. We learn from our mistakes, this is my first official one, give me the tools to improve / be reducated and I will, if that means a compromise of say a week ban then i'd be happy to do that to not only re-read the rules but to sort out any RL issues.

I need to say, i've had good experiences with Vinc. As he used yo be in BG. As i see alot of people ganging up on him, i feel like i need to say this. Vinc have had a good behaviour the time he was in BG. Never had any problems other than him posting too many reportes and include himself in reports he never was a part of.

The reason i thing everything is turning aggressive ish, is that he is cornered here, with alot of people against him. Please be nice guys, give him another chanse. He deserves this.

Edit: http://www.altislife.co.uk/forum/51-actioned/I am curious as to why alot of people get second chances relatively easily and my dispute has been turned into a 40 page warzone, probably fault on my part too, but I would like to receive equal treatment as these players, especially those who broke the same rule (1D).

Because you caused drama instead of just opening an appeal. I looked into it and thought it worthy of a rule 1D perm ban.

I personally believe in 2nd chances for everyone.

Even though some of Vincent's remarks have been a bit passive-aggressive and even just aggressive, I think everyone needs the chance to make up for those remarks or actions. 

I don't know Vincent as a person though, and there fore can't say if he will change or not, but I believe everyone deserves a chance to try.

Ultimately admins decide though.

I would like to point out that from playing with Vincent in the police force, and on the rebel side of life I want to see him get a second chance, Whenever I have played with him he has been respectful and a pleasure to cooperate with. When I played with him as an officer he conducted himself in the correct manor, and had good knowledge on how to roleplay. After reading some of the comments on this thread is seems that people are jumping down  his throat at every opportunity, which I do not think is fair. People make mistakes and it's the chance to fix these, that makes the person/player a better person. To conclude this I'm giving my opinion that when given the chance Vincent can be a nice guy to play with.

I'm Part of TKC and i dont like Vinc3n bc we have been enemys. But when ever there have been a situation his shown good RP and same when i have gotten takin in by him as a cop he have shown good RP. I think he should be given a  second chance, why? Well everyone else get a second chance so why should he not be able to. Sure it might seem abit mean of him to report some people without solving it on TS but still if you break the rules and he dose not feel like he wants to talk to you about it in TS his aloud to forum report and you can solve it there.

Well Vincent, you crossed my line as you might know ;)

But you pulled yourself together and made an good effort in getting back to the police! I have been looking you up and also talking with you. You did good as a police officer, polite and calm! 

So i think you should have one last go at the server, but you need to go in with a littlebit betther attitude toward the mentors and admins ;)

So +1 from me

I've never had any issues with Vincent, but since he came back to the police force, he hasn't caused any trouble or issues. Everytime I've seen him online, he's a normal police officer doing his job. I think he was just lost going from gang to gang, and just needed some time to find himself.

I believe in second chances, so I think he deserves one last one if he humbles himself, and changes for the better.

 
Everyone deserve a second chance, if he hasn't learn't the first time then shortly he will be punished again. Vinc3nt I haven't met you in-game yet I've seen the whole drama going on here, and I do feel you're abit stressed and upset that everyone seems to be attacking you when you felt you did nothing wrong (that might be the case) but a admins decision is final and rules are rules. I just suggest you remove yourself from the bad atmosphere and be on your top notch RP if you get unbanned.

 
I think it is just the way he comes across is as an aggressor and from interacting with him within game, on teamspeak and via text chat, I've always found that aggressive tone. But that's no different to somebody who is shy or overly cheerful..i think vincent may struggle with understsnding empathy which would explain a lot. .. I can understand that to many this is something that is frustrating and a lot of the time annoying but I personally don't think it is his fault. Seems to me it's just the way he has always been perhaps..

I have to admit I was suprised he was banned for the rdm break due to being there in the scenario and knowing he was within a couple of hundred metres whilst we were already engaged with police. But I'd not dispute an admins decision... How vincent handled it could have been millions times better than what it was but at the same time due to his only having this first ban he could have a second chance.

+1 from me but it is always in the hands of the admins.

Added: I think if vincent were to be allowed back then keeping a low profile. Not arguing every point to every end would be the wisest option.

Thats the intention I have, I even considered a name change (of course with people knowing) but I dismissed that. If I get unbanned I will not use the forums unless it is for general chit chat, I will respect staff members and their way of doing things, I will not comment on other peoples reports and not make uneccesary ones myself.

As for the agressive tone not being my fault I would partly agree. However it's strange I come across that way as 95% of the time I am legitametly very calm in myself, I suppose someone like Gordon Ramsey is an example, the guy sounds angry all the time but I doubt he actually is :p   However it is something that I ** Now know ** is a problem and other people perceive it as a problem, since the last apology was more me feeling sorry with myself, I can now absolutely work to change it or accomodate other peoples feelings / views rather than being just focused on my own. I come from a family of hard headed individuals so it must be in the blood a little :p

@meow The bad atmosphere thing is very true. For example yesterday I did get upset about the amount of people I felt like were attacking me (even though they probably wern't) and decided to go for a 1 hr 30 mins walk, when I was out and about I kind of smiled and thought what the hell am I getting upset for? Now I know that removing myself from the bad atmosphere of certain area in the forums will certainly help :)

I will personally not comment about Vincent's behaviour, but this sounds just like the way (LoA) Cool used to be, if it is needed i would take him under my "wings" in the RTA, where we do not accept bad behavior, and we will make sure, that he keeps his head cool, and he will hopefully be a new and better person.

When this is said, this is a open entry for the RTA,

be advised that we do not tolerate ANY kind of childish behavior, then you will be kicked straight out just as fast as you got in, and it will be noticed to the admins, in case they accept this offer.

That sounds like a good idea, hopefully though it wouldn't conflict with being in the Police (assuming im still in the police and assuming of course im unbanned altogether) :p

I have re-read all the rules again, specificly these ones and now, especially after this, understand what their referring too. From my part theres not much more I can do I believe. I have had no further negative interaction with anyone in a negative way and made decent constructive posts on the forum, I've not caused any more drama and have alot more people vouching than devouchin and apparently the decision was being made last night, though it's no issue if more time was needed.

Awaiting admin response.

I will unban you for your final chance. If I hear of one complaint (with evidence) of any of the same passive aggressive tone or toxic behavior you have displayed here on our servers you will be removed.
