Brief Summary: Players should be able to pay to have vehicles moved between public garages.
Detailed Suggestion:
With the development team looking to spread players across the map more evenly, I feel that being able to move your cars between public garages would be beneficial as it would give people more convenient access to their own vehicles in more remote parts of the map.
For example, your car is in Legion Upper Garage, however with the new hospitals, you respawn in Paleto, you bike to the Paleto Public Garage. Here you can pay a fee (Maybe £500- £2000), to have your car brought to the Paleto Garage. After waiting a short period of time (1 minute or so) (to avoid people exploiting it during police chases/combat situations, you can retrieve your car and get on with your day. You would no longer need to carjack a shite local car and leave it in the middle of the street when you get to your destination.
Cost/Time to wait could be determined by how far away your car currently is.
The Pros:
- Would encourage people to use the map more as they would have access to their vehicles wherever there is a public garage.
- People can use their own cars more, thus reducing the amount of civ cars getting carjacked and left abandoned.
- Having to pay and wait would mean it isn't overpowered - these values could be tweaked if it was being abused/underused.
The Cons:
- Could maybe be abused in regards to Trucks/runs ?? - Perhaps make trucks more expensive/slower to move.
- Could take away from Taxi driver calls (Although they're doesn't tend to be many people, if any, doing this job.
Does this suggestion change balance on the server ?
