At least I experience the same with the kraken. 
I'd have to go and lock it after each storm.

I don't think its a good idea to have them lock every restart, as Nuclear said people wont be able to go in and buy things if you aren't Awake to unlock the doors, its a loss of business in my opinion.

VU has an entry fee so if people are just walking in without paying then it kinda defeats the point of the business we're trying to make it in to - it's a strip club not a corner shop. There needs to be some kind of exclusivity to it and realistically what strip club is open at 8am
