I did not actually break the rule above, I did infact role play but for some reason the other player did not hear it. Potentially I was too far away for them to hear but in other instances I have been as close as I was to the other player in question and they heard my in-game chat perfectly fine.
Unfortunately my shodowplay didnt record prior to the event in question but I think a friend I was playing with at the time was close by and managed to record using shadow play and in it I can be heard Role Playing to Gen. RonkEnSkunk.
So from my end, I did 100% role play, it is just unfortunate that the other player wasnt able to hear my request. Hopefully i'll be able to obtain the video from a friend and upload it but in the mean time I would like to say that I am not actually in the wrong despite the evidence submitted by RonkEnSkunk.
