Not sure, it should just use your GPU tho.
Or did you plug in your VGA / DVI / HDMI / Displayport cable into your mobo and not your GPU?

If you get around 25 - 35 fps in kavala center with many people then that's normal. outside kavala centre you should be looking at 40 - 50 ish depending on players. everything outside cities should get you atleast 60 - 90 fps.

Have you checked your powerplan? mine was running on power saver and when i changed it to the best one it had a huge difference for me.

Like yellowboss said : check your temps. do you have a aftermarket cooler? since you're not using an K version i doubt the temps are getting very high so i doubt thats the problem. i7's only start downclocking at 95c anyway. just check with program called 'hwmonitor'

what graphigs are you running on ? The higher you set your settings the more it will load on your gpu so maybe try to turn it down to high and force a bit more on the CPU. by the way you don't need full view distance etc in altis. it's pretty useless. so tweak that for some extra fps.

Max temp while playing is 45c, I'm on balanced power plan, changing graphics doesn't affect my FPS  3k overall 1.5 object
