This is a good discussion, people can release their inner thoughts and get out the salt here instead of in-game.
To answer some of the questions then
Seems to me like the UNMC and the police are not strong alone. They need to team up to take out the big gangs.
Well this is very wrong, especially coming from a member of a gang that lost at-least 30+ million to us but anyway... Yes, the police are not strong alone but they don't NEED us to help them "do there job", there job isn't to fight rebels all the time, rebels need to lay off the police and stop being dicks to them, they are outnumbered and outgunned in every fight, they have better things to do than die constantly and deal with bank ops.
On top of that, UNMC do not need anyone to help, we fight our own battles, we don't call on help from the police, when we stole all your gold, the police didn't help us then, they just let us do our business.
We've helped the police twice as mentioned and one of those were when the police couldn't move without being initiated on by rebels.
The UNMC and Police have a common enemy, if we can wipe out their enemy and get paid 20 million+ in gold at the same time, why not do it, the police also have no loss of life and they get to scrap a few Ifrits and confiscate rebel weaponry from it, within roleplay this makes sense where we are cutting off the rebels supply of money so they lay off the police.

Go on then tell us the background. Cuz Ive asked about 10 members in game and no UNMC seems to know. Plus it seems to change all the time too. One day you're ok with the drugs, the other you're stopping evil drug dealers. Same with guns, Im utterly lost tbh.
Now onto this one, I do believe the UNMC background story was released to the public through this post:
If you really need to know the background story, it's a good read and you'll gain some knowledge along the way.
You can also see a "fragile" ceasefire was setup between the UNMC and the Police force, both parties deciding that this was the best way to keep peace between the sides. Through actions of both the UNMC Soldiers and the Police Officers on the island, the ceasefire "ceased" to exist after multiple gunfights, the police had to rollover in these gunfights and the UNMC walked all over the island, the police Chief's ordered a meeting with the General's to talk about those events, it was decided upon a once again, very fragile this time ceasefire where both sides would stay out of eachothers ways, we let the police go about their daily duties and they let us away with our duties. Neither side needs a war breaking out between them and with the high rebel concentration on the island targeting both sides, it is in the best interest that we as UNMC don't have the rebels AND police against us.
We do not jump in on bank ops, we rob the gold while in transportation, this is after the police has died and given up, we decide to get a good paycheck and if the rebels lose all their money and we gain all of it, why wouldn't we take the chance.
Stop being salty, get on with the GAME and enjoy yourselves, no point losing sleep typing needless comments, sort it out in-game through roleplay if you guys remember what that is.
