  I was accused by one of [NHS] in this topic:

   

   All the info is there. Here is the link to his stream( http://www.hitbox.tv...video/346113 )where he recorded a man who disconnected, but it wasn't me.

    I would like a fast unbann because I don't even know him and if you want you can look in your database or what so ever and check where I disconnected.

    I inssist to demote that medic for accusing me for nothing... Tell me if I disconnect WITHOUT COMBAT LOG is against the rules.

I do not see why this effects his medic role at all... I am currently taking a look at that video now.

Sorry... I was angry... Forget about the demote... But you know I am still dissapointed that an unfair ban happened.

Anyway hope you see that I did nothing wrong.

Edit: What do you mean about the other people... Those who left? I don't even know them or the people who accused me.

Edit: I wasn't even at the salt mine.. I don't even have a truck...

Edit: show me where my name appeared in the clip.

3mins 45 seconds, you disconnect while in the truck... the truck I might add they were accusing of VDMing

100% combat logging ... 100% fair ban

They were giving you 5 seconds to get out the truck you disconnected.

Hmmm...it doesn`t show anywhere that man is noctis.It`s not the fault of the medic but i don`t think that guy is noctis.You don`t even have proof that man is Noctis in my opinion he is inoccent can`t you look into the server history if he was there?In my opinion you should unban him only because you don`t have proof that he was there.On the video you can`t see his name.

Are you going to ban me in vain?! At least look up your database or something... Imagine that I wouldn't inssist if I knew I did something wrong... Are you really going to ban me without even checking the situation?

You can hear that voice in the record? It should be my voice... If you want to check the voices you can do it anytime if you want me to contact you.

Hes the only Noctis on the server, upon checking the logs it gave me a steam ID and i issued a ban towards that steam ID... which is why you are seeing a ban message.

Yes it clearly shows in the video the guy in the truck disconnected, if you check the sidechat it says " Noctis disconnected"

Please look at this topic in the comments: http://www.altislife.co.uk/topic/12546-unfair-ban-accused-for-combat-log/ This post is just a repost... That dude could have aborted... and not logged out. If you count he had more than 10 seconds to abort... And the fact that just said Noctis "disconnected" doesn't proof anything... I already said that you can check the voices... And probably where I disconeccted... Or that I ONLY have a heroin processing licence as in the screenshots.

I'm not an admin, but I've reviewed the footage in the report, I will offer this analysis:

As of 20:30 on 17/12/2014 Noctis does not own a Tempest Transport or Salt training.

He also has very limited cash to his name and thus his wearing a 20K outfit seems odd.

Of course he could have been given all the above and was just performing work with the others.

Now critically and the main reason I'm posting in this thread is that when someone aborts and goes back to the lobby to pick a new spawn point, they do NOT get a disconnect message in the sidechat/console.

Here is my able assistant @ demonstrating this:


I feel at this point most people do not know that simply re-visiting the lobby screen doesn't generate the disconnect message so this is a FYI for those who weren't aware.

As i said ... i have checked the DB which stores your current name... any previous names used and you are the only Noctis on the server.

When issued the ban it was from the logs of that evening and I can also see the disconnect in the logs which connects to your steam ID

This is 100% you otherwise you wouldnt be banned right now.

Man, don't you unterstand?... That guy's name wasn't Noctis... You have absolutely no proof... Do you have a proof that he was named Noctis other than "Noctis disconnect". It shows me only that a guy named Noctis disconnect from the server. I want to say that it only happend that I disconnected from the server in the exact same moment... He could have aborted. And if you look at the video that Unconnected posted, it will tell you nothing about him leaving the server.

 
Wilco, far be it from me, that I should question your logic on this ban, but what Noctis is saying is that at the 3min 45sec mark in the video he did indeed log out.

But that he wasn't driving the truck (check the stats page, he has next to no cash, no tempest and no salt processing training) and that the gentleman who was driving the truck aborted back to the lobby and simply changed spawn and as such didn't get a disconnect message (see the video for demo).

Noctis, for what it's worth dude, I appreciate you're frustrated but taking that tone hasn't done well for people in similar circumstances. The admins here are fair, understanding guys and if you truly are innocent (I believe you are), then 'justice' will prevail. Relax :)

Forgive us... we process so many bans per day and if you see the video you will understand by the timing of the disconnect and the person falling out of the truck pointed towards you.

No need to be so worked up in the thread tho... please remain calm here if your going to last long term.

I have unbanned you and banned 8b4b1e7e9fade48c6176981ea2bdbcaa -1 NAIT LUTERIS - Forum Report 20/12/2014 who i have managed to link this and the tempest to.
