Unban Appeal for xOP5
In-game Name: Tony Rowlands

Reason given for your ban: C2.3
In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I think that I was banned due to combat logging on either 1 of these two situations. Number one was where it was 15:58 and the storm was about to hit. I just clocked off and was about to disconnect when someone put a gun to my face and most likely wanted to RP in a robbery. However, due to the storm, I left in order to avoid data loss during the storm. I was already disconnecting by the time the player approached and I feel if this is the reason, it is unjust to permanently remove me from the city. Secondly, I was roleplaying a police chase in my taxi when I finally pulled over as my car sustained damage. Police swarmed me and I was going to begin the arrest section of our RP, but the VOIP was not working and I couldn't talk to the officers. I mentioned this in OOC and stated I was going to relog, but when I returned, the police were gone. I was fully going to go through with the interaction as I enjoy having fun interactions with people in this community.
Why should we unban you ?: I have been playing for roughly 2 weeks and have a decent grasp on the rules and I was aware of C2.3. I wouldn't do it on purpose as I finally felt at home in the city and wouldn't risk losing this part of me. I have made both friends and foes in the city and formed a bond with a few players in which were going to work on a small gang in which we could begin to RP as. I really thought things were beginning to click in the city and really started to enjoy myself in the city. However, rules are rules and if the gods deem my actions as rule breaking, then I shall take my leave from this city. I must say, this server was one of my favourites and I really hope I can continue to be a part of this great community.

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was rightfully banned for not roleplaying appropriately during a situation in which I should have taken seriously. I now know that I should act appropriately during intense roleplaying scenarios.
Why should we unban you ?: I did speak to the player afterwards and I made sure they were not bothered by my behaviour and we RP'd and it ended in me giving him a lift and we ended on a good note. However, he reported another player that was in the scenario and the staff deemed my actions which were viewable in the evidence as inappropriate. I have since spoken to various staff in order to learn what it was I did wrong. I now know that what I did wrong was rightfully punished and I understand the severity of what I did. I am now ready to abide by the rules even more closely as I have gained more knowledge on what I cannot do during my time in the city. This will in turn make my experience in the city more enjoyable, both for me and others I interact with.
