Why do you think you were banned: hi, i believe i had combat logged due to being placed into a moving vehicle whilst dead, i was trapped there as it was an NPC. i then left completely disregarding the rules and joined the next day spawning dead then using the OOC chat again against the rules to try seek help which was wrong as it was not roleplaying. i take 100% ownership to my fault and have since reflected on the rules to enhance my knowledge moving forward with my roleplay.
Why should we unban you: This happened nearly a year ago so i believe in my time away from this server i have reflected on my wrong doings and greatly apologise reassuring that this will not happen again. I would love to join back as this was one of my first roleplaying servers which i loved the most. i have extreme regrets for what i did and there is no excuse for it. i highly appreciate your time and efforts to read my dispute and can only hope my apology is accepted.

Firstly - It's not been a year, it's been almost 6 months since your ban! What makes you want to return now?

You state you were placed into a boot upon being incapacitated - What happened during RP that lead to this outcome?

to answer your first question. i would love to re-join this server as i have taken time to better myself through other servers yet always want to come back to this one as it felt the best server and had the best staff! i deeply miss RPUK and wish that i never had done what i did. i deeply regret everything and struggle to find better servers.

i also would love to re-join this server as this is where Venessa's story line was born. RPUK helped make Venessa and her really fun backstory

Did you not think to ask them to a Liaison, to gather an understanding as to why they did this?

when i left the server it was because i didn't want to wait to respawn after dying multiple times that day and just exited out of the server. On reflection this was very wrong of me and i will ensure that this will not happen ever again.

I'm asking HOW you left the server, did you F8 quit, or do something else?

Can you tell my in your own words what both the rules C2.3 and G3.1 is - and why we have them both in place?

Hi again, Thankyou for your response!

I didn’t get chance to liaise with them as it happened at an unexpected time whilst I was speaking with the group. And when I died I couldn’t talk to them (I was unsure at this point if it was RDM as there wasn’t an actual reason for them shooting me) in future I would open a ticket about this to prevent this from happening again.

Sorry for mis reading! When I left it was through disconnecting by turning my pc straight off. If I can recall or it was by pressing escape and disconnect or exit game I believe. I didn’t know about the f8 option.

C2.3
This rule is about combat logging. It is where your character logs out during a phase of roleplay where it impacts a story or essentially impacts ropleplay its self. People break this rule by logging off when in a hostile situation to save themselves which is wrong and not role playing. (I have learnt from this).
This rule is put in place to make sure that RP is fair and one continuous story and not being altered by someone changing the RP by rage quitting or saving themselves which defeats the purpose of RP which is essentially a real life scenario gameplay.

G3.1
OOC information.
Breaking this rule consists of a person using out of character information against their own character which basically means if their eyes don’t know or see things, the character shouldn’t know or see. If you may know something in real life then the character you have created shouldn’t, as they haven’t seen or heard nothing of it.
Using the OOC chat to tell other characters on the chat something that their eyes cannot see is breaking this rule.
This rule is set in place to make sure that again RP stays fair and one continuous story where the character goes by what they see and hear not the person playing them. This rule is considered MetaGaming. For example. If a person were to be streaming and someone commented in their chat that someone flown into the city and had a bomb let’s say. Their character shouldn’t know even tho the streamer does and their character hasn’t seen the person fly in nor the bomb and hasn’t been told by other RP characters. Or using this example in OOC chat this isn’t a chat where characters can communicate.

The plan for Venessa should I be unbanned would be to add more character to RP by being born from a poor background to living off of benefits for most of her life to then developing her wealth by learning new abilities in her life and gathering good working environments from fellow friends that she would try and make. Her story is very bubbly and she has a very outstanding personality. She is very funny and highly charismatic. Once getting her life together she would invest into the community by eventually owning her own company such as a nightclub or something high customer based where people can unwind! Interaction is key to venessa. This boosts her confidence as she is a very social woman! The story I want to build with her is as soon as she gets into the city she would start fresh and get to know everyone and build relationships. She then would like to settle down before a big jump into business as she tries to find friends to help with a plan to save money for her business. She wants to be well known in the city as a powerful independent woman. (Who don’t need no man) that was her strong motto! Her business would be very customer based. Her bubbly personality will be key to bringing in her customers. She would love to own her very own nightclub!

Business aside. She also loves her social influence. Aswell as wanting to be well known she thinks she can succeed in her own social influence lifestyle by modeling and sharing her everyday life on her platforms!
