Why do you think you were banned: I was banned because I broke the 5 rules mentioned above. Typing ooc discriminatory words which abused ooc, RDMing Drex, failing to RP injuries
Why should we unban you: Hello and good day to the Rpuk staff member who is reading this. To start things off, I did submit a GDPR request, but only due to fears of being doxed, and being doxed in America is a bit worse due to potential swatting, ect. I also do want to take time to apologize again to Drex for ruining his immersion and being immature, and to the other staff members for the time I wasted with the chatgpt and RPing an appeal. I know you take your personal time out of your days to do these appeals, and nobody should be trolling like that. Thank you again for your time, and hopefully we can be on better terms.

I guess to start this all off one day me and some people were driving around one had to go in his eyes so we was chillin on a side street some people pulled up told us to get out the car and to what i thought was rdm just getting shot after getting shot we laid and a policeman pulled up took us to the hospital we got pocket wiped and was about to be sentenced in this time i was personally mad so i didn't rp injuries beat up the police and tried pickin him up grabbed a scalpel and had a knife to his throat then just get shot again by the police i went out of character in the scene broke ppls immersions cause i was tilted we tried to explain in ooc to drex he said to submit a ticket and now months later i can agree can't do the time don't do the crime.

After the above situation, I DM'ed Drex, stating a few things I forgot verbatim but also attaching my previous appeals since my memory of the situation isn't as fresh as it once was. I also apologized a few times in the past couple months. I kept everything on the table since I was banned, and I will always do that. After taking a few months off the CPU and working on irl things, bettering myself as an individual, and some RP on my downtime, I would like to delve back into it but will be limited in the times that I play due to life and being in a different time zone my playtime would be limited to weekends. I wouldn't play during the week as much, but I will try and focus on RP more on weekends only when I have the time and clear head to do so. I don't want to lie about my future plans if I am accepted back into the community, but I would enjoy making a police character experience the legal side of things, seeing where TJ's story leads him trying to get back on his mechanic job, selling cars, or trying to open his own car wash, as well as making a private investigator character like Sherlock Holmes.

I would highly appreciate a second chance to rejoin the community, which was always top-tier in and out of RP from community events ect., if you have any questions, feel free to reply. If the GDPR is a conflict, I understand as well but I do have some information on why i done that, but i do not want to share it publicly, but as an American, it can be "life" threatening. I appreciate your time, and I hope you have a good day.

Before I get in to this appeal I would like to address something that you had sent in a message. You had messaged a staff member saying you "highly doubt you will appeal again" So what has made you change your mind?

Busy day but it was great, how about yourself?

I do recall saying this due to living situation(s) and workin 2 jobs at that time, I didn't think I'd have the housing stability or free time to ever play again but I'm back on my toes let 1 job go, moved a few times, and it would be nice to come back into this amazing community with a fresh mind set and a better stable living situation as well. Personally I also didn't want to return cause of the drama, the fears of the doxxing and all that shenanigans that went on, I just wasn't mentally able to listen to that or deal with that at the time when dealing with irl things come first.

Yes indeed, hopefully we can start on a new path here. I do understand I broke a few rules during this time as well, and if I miss anything about this report please lmk I would appreciate it immensely. I had filed this report at the time. I believe one person was in their head (the driver) then we got pulled up on by Alliance at the time and were told to step out of the vehicle, then got shot immediately after, before we couldn't even get out or do anything to retaliate. Laid on the ground for a few moments bleeding out till police showed up, picked us up, searched us, than I got frustrated and broke multiple rules in the hospital, then got banned. I filed the report at the time to reclaim items, not realizing I had broken multiple rules, but was showcasing the cause to the effect of my actions. (Also, later found out it was not needed and just needed to submit a claim). I did not claim to think this was a revenge report at the time, even with tensions high, I was seeking compensation for the RDM.

At the time I was banned I could have definitely went about this differently and more maturely. I was playing way too much at the time and forgot. At the end of the day, it is just a game. We are here to have a fun time. I know I won't have a lot of time in my day to play anymore, but when I do, I'd really like to come back to the community to roleplay, as it's a unique community with many friends that I miss meeting up with and passing time and enjoying the server I took for granted at the time and I do apologize again for breaking multiple rules that I had broken during this incident.

Essentially, from what I can gather here you are agreeing with the fact it was a revenge report.
What I'd like to know is, if you have already acted in this manner "knowing" that you were going to get banned and decided to try and bring others down with you, how do I know you won't be acting in this manner again out of frustration?

Surely we'd just be running a risk of you having another outburst at some point if we allow you back here.
 
Good evening @Danoo. That is great to hear, you're welcome! Every day is a good day when the lord blessin with another day.

Sorry for the late reply. I was having internet issues last night after work and couldn't get on to read this till now. I was still quite new to RP at that time and should have communicated rather than lashing out during the situation. I let emotion run my actions rather than logic. I later found out during this altercation I could file for a compensation request rather than filing out a report. Knowledge is power and there will not be a next time we live, and we learn from mistakes as we are adults and should conduct ourselves accordingly. I'll only be able to play on weekends as I won't have much time during the week with my schedule, so any situation I'll be in from here on out if allowed back into the server would be with a level-headed mindset win, lose, or draw.

I appreciate your clearing up the revenge report part of this ban, I would like to revisit something I mentioned when I last dealt with your appeal.
Some of your OOC messages before being banned were the following (This does not even include half of them, some are much worse with slurs which I will not be posting here as hopefully most people didn't see them):

"I hope you get pussy on your dick"
"congratz dickhead"
"make me, oh you can't it's a video game and you get to abuse your police powers"
"no wonder ppl are quitting this shitty server"
"dog shit RP leaving ppl in the infirmary"
"fuck your QE"

Players in this community need to understand that they can't just throw their toys out of the pram when something doesn't go their way, throw insults like this around publically and then be welcomed back with open arms, it's simply not going to happen.
This is a gaming community where we all come together to enjoy something we share a passion for, why on earth should anyone need to put up with behaviour like this?

You've got these OOC messages, an outburst in #GroupMembers leading to you being timed out and a revenge report all in one.
In my opinion, if you've managed to display this attitude once then we run the risk of you repeating these actions.

No problem with report. Sounds good to me as well. Yes, I stated these things when I was hot headed, but again, I won't be playing as much as I used to, so none of this will happen again. Win, lose, or draw, I am a man about it. At the end of the day, I acknowledge what I said and apologized. If I could, I'd go back and redo it I would but I can't just asking for redemption to play the server once again, but rules are in place to keep a balance, and I'll respect them if welcomed back and earn your trust again. I've realized the mistakes made, I can only hold my hands up and apologize for it outside of being a member of the community. I would like to become a member again, and I can only prove this by showing my worth not just to you but the rest of the community as well. All these future situations I'll get myself into if welcomed back. I won't care about what happens in terms of winning or losing or however it goes, I won't be on as much as I used to but when I do get on, I just would like for everyone to have fun.

You have cleared up some things here and I thank you for that. I also have a lot of concern, you have mentioned that you won't be playing as much as you once did but you haven't really said much about what woukd stop something like this happening again?

You would have to appreciate that this isn't the first outburst you have had, some of your outbursts have been while you have been banned so you were not even able to play the server. So with earning trust back, we would first have to trust that an outburst would not happen again. With how many there have been I have hesitation to give that trust, like i said some of them have been while you were banned and not even able to play the server.

How can you assure us that you have indeed learnt from this and an outburst will not happen again

Sorry for the late reply, been at work all day my apologies on the late reply. You're very welcome, and it's no problem at all. I had outburst in the past. It was just about the RDM in my eyes at the time, but I won't be attached to the RP as I once was and overinvested in the server. I will say I don't want to plea my side of the story no more and would like to put this behind me and being banned again is just not a option. I dislike typing this much and the whole process takes time out of your day and my own day which I don't have anymore to be typing up these kinds of things when we can all be doing something more productive at that time. As long as either side of the RP is having fun is what matters and, if accepted back into the community, I would prove being unbanned was not a waste of your time. I waited till I had a clear mind to reappeal or else I would have waited a bit longer, but as a person I feel as if I can comply with the rules as I once did when I first joined the server. I feel as if I am ready to re connect with the community and make positive experiences and no more negative ones and be extremely appreciative of a 2nd chance of redemption to prove myself to staff and the community that I can do better then the past version of myself.

What are your plans if you're able to return to RPUK?
Will you be playing the same characters, joining the same friend group, joining a faction?

I'd like as much detail into this as possible, I could be wrong, but I'd assume the friend group you were in at the time had helped lead you to this outburst as you seemed to follow everyone else on that matter.

Just wanted to say thank you for the reply and the time out on your day to respond. I appreciate it immensely.

If allowed back into RP again, I wouldn't have too much time besides the weekends to play the server, so it would be nice to hop on TJ and see the city and all that is new that has been added in and all that, there is still a lot he hasn't experienced, for TJ are you referring to the Apostles or certain individuals in general? I will honestly accept full responsibility for my own actions that got me banned and would not blame anyone but myself for the actions I took that day. I am a grown adult who got heated in a video game during an altercation I had initiated and should have acted accordingly rather than spewing absolute nonsense. It was my idea to go out robbing that day, knowing that this is one of our rules that we are not allowed to do within the organization. Hopefully this is not used as in game information but I will speak the truth.

What I'd really enjoy the most would see the legal side too, with an NHS character or police character seeing how that goes being a rookie in training, especially to see the different laws that the UK would have rather than U.S. laws too. If I could seriously get into one of those to experience it with another character, it would be nice to experience in and out of RP and a good learning curve.

If TJ could be holy again, that would be nice, but if this is a condition you do not want to see, I am fine with this as well, and can move on and see if he can be in a different organization maybe? I mainly did whatever I enjoyed at the time, whether that was fishing, selling cars, being a mechanic, or selling, if it don't make dollas it don't make sense to TJ. I would be extremely grateful to be un-banned to get back into the server and, continue TJ's story, but I feel as if I will be wanting to get the new police or NHS character established more so for a while because I feel as if my accent is very distinct after a long time this would be good to separate the two characters.

I personally would like to just avoid drama, get through my work week and hop on some RP for 1–3 hours on the weekends if it is more because a situation is occurring that is fine as well when the server is active, socialize a bit and see how these new characters hold up while slowly re-introducing TJ when my legal character gets established and all that. I'd like a police character named Clay Biggy to come to Los Santos to get his life straight after he left Cali after his parents got killed by gangsters in broad daylight at a Shell gas station in Oakland.

Hello there @Tirus Johnson , hope you are well.

I´ve had a long, very long, read through everything to do with you and your appeal... Quite frankly, the fact that so much staff time has gone into this is insane to me.

You have caused nothing but trouble since you joined this community, crossed all the boxes for toxic, immature, disgusting behaviour and I don´t believe for a second that you have done a 180 within 1 year of being away. You have displayed yourself as the type of person that we don´t want in our community.

The doors will stay closed for you for at least another year. You may re-appeal after 09/11/2025, but I wouldn´t count on a positive outcome with your history here.
