Why do you think you were banned: My friend and I were heading to LS Customs to repair our cars when his broke down just outside the garage. I suggested he push the car to LS Customs since the repair kits weren’t working for some reason. A couple of minutes later, I noticed he was struggling to make a turn, so I decided to bump his car with mine to help steer it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, so I was ejected from my vehicle, flew into a wall, and ended up dying.

At that point, I decided to call it a night, as it was around 4 AM, and I didn’t want to upset my girlfriend by staying up too late. Without thinking, I alt-F4’d out of the game. I also didn't see anyone from NHS online at that time, as there weren’t any staff at the hospital earlier.

If needed, I can ask my friend, whose in-game name is Mason Malinga (Char ID ending in 40), to corroborate this.
Why should we unban you: I fully understand why I was banned, but I believe there may have been a misunderstanding. I’m assuming the ban might have been automated? Regardless, I want to clarify that I don’t plan on crashing into vehicles to move them again, as I now realize it’s neither effective nor realistic in the context of RP.

I believe this incident is the reason for the ban, but if it's something else, please let me know. It's rare for me to get involved in combat situations on the server, so I don’t think it would be related to anything of that nature.

c than the actual situation if that makes sense? Not really a misunderstanding but just something that could've been very easily avoided if I didnt log out so quickly.

I believe that under the rules, yes it would count as combat log i guess, but the real situation is described. Its not like I was in a gun fight and logged to escape death or whatever, it was just me logging after getting flung out of a car after messing around before I slept.

You logged out whilst downed, it is absolutely a combat log, by definition.

How are you going to avoid this in future?

Yeah I completely get it, In the future I will need to think before I act. I have reread the rules and everything so I know that "Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting" and I believe the way it was handled was correct. I will just avoid logging after anything combat related happens and i'll make sure to wait around 10-15 minutes before heading off. In this case, I should've waited to either respawn or get sent to the hosptial. This could've been really easily avoided and I need to have more patience in the future. I honestly didnt even think it would count as combat due to the actual way it happened but I completely understand.

May I ask, was this an automatic ban or a staff ban?

I'm glad you see the error of your ways however.
