Reason given for your ban: Transferring items between characters

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned due to cheating and gaining an unfair advantage over other characters in the city by transferring items between one character to another.

Why should we unban you ?: I have been playing the server for over 2 years with no bans or warnings, I had one moment of madness by thinking I could get away with transferring some items between characters. I was wrong to do this. I have for sure learned my lesson due to getting the ban and having my characters possessions wiped clean, which is a real shame as this was 2 years of hard work. I really am sorry for breaking the rules, and I for sure won't do it again. I have built up an amazing group of friends in the city and it would be a real shame to lose what i have built up over 1 small moment of madness.

Before we continue with this appeal, I'd like to start this of by explaining what's inevitably going to happen;
As unfortunate as it may seem, we are consistent in our way of dealing with G2.9 violations.
Like everyone else who have transferred assets between characters, a full character wipe comes attached with a possible unban.

The character you transferred items from (character ID 102722), will be deleted. This action is irreversible, and is the only way this appeal will proceed.

What is a full character wipe?
- Bank Balance: £0.
- Cash (Inventory): £0.
- Inventory items: Wiped.
- Home ownership: Removed.
- Vehicles: Removed.
- Storage Units: Removed.
- Shop ownership: Removed.
- Licenses: Wiped.
- House keys (other houses): Removed.

Do you understand, and agree to this?

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I understand this and agree, I believe I can keep my rp 'memories' and contacts etc but I lose all my assets. I am happy for the Character 'Draydon' to be deleted, but I would love to keep my character Tommy, but agree to his possessions being seized.

Moving on, I would like to know your motivation behind the rule break? I know you mentioned IQ levels whilst being spoken to by another admin, was the overall goal to gain an advantage by using separate characters?

Yes that’s correct, I didn’t want to lose my max IQ mining by smelting on my current character. I understand that moving forward if I want to use the smelter I have 2 options; connect with another character in the city to work with, or do this myself and comprise my mining IQ, like anyone else in the city would have to do.

My actions meant I was gaining an advantage on other characters in the city, which is why I am being punished, and I completely understand that.

You say you've met an amazing friend group within the city.
Why did you not decide to work alongside another smelter/miner and increase potential roleplay rather than gaining your own advantage?

Surely you'd have had more enjoyment talking and working with someone else, no?

It was very early in the morning and they were not in the city, I was looking at getting this done quickly. alternatively I could have gone around the city trying to meet new people who would be active at this time to work with. I have many associates which I have cooperated with in the city prior to this moment, I guess I was just impatient. But yes, you're right, the times I have cooperated with my associates before, the RP has been enjoyable. I am disappointed in my actions. There were many other tasks which I could have been doing to fill the time whilst I waited for my friends to wake up.

Judging by your attitude whilst being spoken to by staff at the time your ban was pushed, I can very clearly see that this ban had upset you and you were extremely frustrated with your own actions.
I think this has been a wakeup call, and you've learnt from your mistakes. Hopefully now moving forward you'll be extremely careful with the rules and have a read over them before logging back in to make sure you're up to scratch with them.

Any ban you receive within the next 6 months will be a permanent and take you right back here.
