Ban Reason: C2.3 Combat Logging
Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for combat logging, I was downed in a situation near taxi rank. All other players involved had left the situation so I logged out. The rules are clear, and I broke them.
Why should we unban you: I appealed my ban the first time almost immediately after receiving it as I was of the opinion I did not combat log as everyone had left the situation so whos rp was I disrupting. I know clearly understand that was wrong and small minded of me, I did not consider the paramedics rp and job they do or other players that could of come back for me for whatever reason.

If I get unbanned I can assure you this will not happen again, should a similar situation happen I will wait for paramedics or my respawn timer to end. I am here for fun and engaging role play and this ban has made me be more considerate of other peoples role play, and how what I thought were harmless decisions can negatively affect others.

My current character is a legal citizen exploring all the civilian jobs with a hope of becoming a mechanic down the line.

I'm not sure if it's necessary to link my previous appeal as it was auto-declined but I will just in case.

Had you read the server rules prior to this incident, or after you had been banned?

I read them briefly before joining for the first time, admittedly probably not as thoroughly as I should've. I can say I have read them in detail and more than once since my ban.

Is this part correct? You were downed at 22:34 and logged out at 22:36 (2 minutes later), it seems very speedy of anyone to have finished their roleplay and left the scene that close together.
To me, it looks more as if you had quit very quickly after going down out of some kind of anger, or loss of the situation, please do correct me if I'm wrong on that part.

Hi Danoo,

I thought I had around 7 minutes left on my respawn timer when I left, so I thought I was on the floor for around 7/8 minutes. There was a player who also died in this situation who quit the game a lot sooner. I could be getting mixed up with timings here though it's been a while.

Whilst i was downed I watched the friend I was with who got downed, also leave the game, the player who killed me collected his friend off the ground and put him in a car and drive away.

So to summarise yes I thought at the time I'm good to leave there's no one else here. I was very new to the server and didn't really have anything to lose to get upset about.

The roleplay hadn't ended, as much as the other player may have driven off, perhaps for example he was moving his friend out of the way and then coming back for you guys separately.
You say you were new to the server which is correct, but are you also new to roleplay as a whole?

I'd also like to know, if you're placed in exactly the same situation again, what would you do differently to play it out?

Hi Danoo,

I have played on a few other servers over the last few months, this wasn't my first rp experience.

I agree I should not have left, I did not consider the guys coming back or any number of things that could of happened. If I get unbanned and find myself in a similar situation I would wait for paramedics to arrive or my timer to run out, I would not log out.

Although my time on this server was short it was by far one of the best servers I've played on, it would be great to be able to play here again.

Given that you were new at the time, and this is indeed your first ban I am going to give you a second chance to prove you're actually here to roleplay.
I suggest you take another read over the rules before re-joining, as you don't want to end up back here again.

Any ban you receive within the next 6 months will be a permanent ban as per the FBS.
