Reason given for your ban: (G2.9) Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method.

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Back in January I had created a new character which I wanted to hopefully progress through gang life. Unfortunately, I was experiencing some issues when trying to gain money, so I foolishly resorted to transferring money. I cannot remember exactly how much the sum of money, but I am aware it was a substantial amount. Although I know I shouldn't have done it in any circumstance, I did it anyways and it has now caught up to me.

Why should we unban you ?: I am aware that I have been banned once before, a few months ago, for 24 hours because of RDM which had involved a wanted male that had been running from police. Despite this, I have since improved my actions and have been cautious not to break any rules since then. G2.9 was before this incident and I regretted it sometime afterwards as I had the gut feeling it would eventually catch up to me, and here we are. I am aware of the issues surrounding G2.9 because it can very easily break or mess up the server’s economy. Unfortunately, I cannot go back on my mistakes and undo them although I am very much annoyed at myself for doing so. I feel as if apart from a few hiccups in the past, I provide solid RP and at the end of the day, I am just here to enjoy myself. This will very much open my mind even more about being conscious with rulebreaking and I will take it on-board with the hopes of being unbanned.

Moreover, I am aware that to be unbanned, I will have to agree to a character wipe, so I am happy to do so if it means getting unbanned.

You mentioned this happened on a new character you created? So what was this characters name you transferred money from and to? 

 
@StuartIt was from Harlow Milner to Gee Ramirez, hence why I said my character name was Harlow 

 
Indeed you did mention a character name but it's better to double check either way. 

Lets start with an easy question, Is this the only time you've done this sort of thing ?

This isn't the truth overall, Whilst yes you used the two characters you've mentioned explain how your cop character ties into this also for us? 

I assume you've read the rules since your last ban? If so you have also broken two additional rules, What are these rules?

To be brutally honest, I’m not sure but does it have something to do with the storage container I had a while back?

Also, I did read the rules yes but not aware of other rules I may have broken unfortunately.

Whilst yes some of this is going back to the storage container you own on Gee there is more to this that just that time. 

In relation to the rules have another read over them, You've used three characters to transfer money to others. Others are using the money that has come from their knowledge 'thin air' so this should help you identify what other rules you've in turn broken outside of G2.9.

When this is done, Explain how your other two characters knew of the storage container that Gee owns and why both Connor and Harlow used said container? One thing to keep in mind is honesty is key.

I am inclined to say character separation. I do admit 100% to using the container and it was wrong. The reason why I used it was to just have a way of storing items without having another container on other characters. It’s bad looking back on it now as it broke more rules. I apologise for that.

The only reason my other characters knew would be because of using information gained from my other characters. 

 
Well that indeed will be the two other rules you broke on top of G2.9. Indeed it doesn't look good more so the more we look into this. 

So why do you believe it was alright for you to use the storage container from your Criminal character across two other characters? Upon looking you was funding it with your police pay check. 

Now you said in the main appeal that you did this to progress through gang life, So what's the real story here behind why you did this? 

Looking over in total it's going over a million you decided to transfer, How would you think this is acceptable ?

To be truthful, I didn’t think it was acceptable but I felt like I done it once so I just risked using my police character. Silly I know. I regret my actions and I don’t want to have to deal with my other character’s anymore and want Gee and Harlow gone. 
 

That was the first time I had done it, from Harlow to Gee, and then I just got Connor involved when I really didn’t need to. But the main reason was to progress through gang life.

 
Well you have indeed risked it all by doing this. I'd of expected more from someone who has yes previous punishments but more so been here over a year. 

One of the times you placed a large sum of money into the boot of a vehicle and got it out on another character. You then went onto transfer some of said money, Why was this?

It was my chosen method of transferring the money across. Just thought it was the simplest way of doing so unfortunately.

 
I think you misunderstood what I asked, So I'll rephrase. 

You put money into the boot of a vehicle, Swapped characters and retrieved said money. After doing this you did transfer money to other players, What was the reason behind this?

Oh I apologise. Hopefully I answer your question this time. 
I had transferred money to buy some items (funding my character) I believe it might have been a new vehicle of some sort.

 
I've had a look over your history here on RPUK within the year give or take you've been here. During your time here you've had the following punishments;

Warnings;

Poor Roleplay, Exploiting, NLR Rules, Then you've had one past ban as you've mentioned for a day due to RDM. 

Now you are here for this, So with this in mind we have been very lenient with you leading up to this permanent ban. How many chances do we allow for you to follow the rules? Why have you been going on this downward spiral?

I’m not sure how many chances are given but I can agree Staff has been very lenient towards myself, which I highly appreciate. 
 

This is the first ever roleplay server I have played as it was the first UK one I found after getting a PC - back in August. Because of this, sometimes I didn’t understand the rules properly so I had little hiccups, here and there. My previous warnings had been quite a few months apart from the RDM ban I believe? Also the G2.9 ban now being from the start of this year. But I am not sure why I have acted in ways that could easily get me banned. I am just thankful I wasn’t at the time.

 
Indeed they are a few months apart however from the outset it does set a picture as a whole, The RDM ban was around 2-3 months ago. 

So with you saying you didn't understand the rules, How can we be sure you fully understand them now? 

Has it took a permanent ban for you to start taking this more seriously, If so why?

I will say that with this permanent ban it will set things straight. G2.9 is a very black and white rule but with RDM it is a much more case by case basis. With this being said, it makes it apparent what could be classed as a rule break (in any instances, not just RDM). It makes it clear for future what can be classed as a rule break when in a potentially controversial situation. 
 

Unfortunate that it had to come to this for it to open my mind, I am ashamed of it.
