Unban Appeal for Redshaggy

Reason given for your ban: C 2.2 G 2.9

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned rightfully because I was breaking the rules. I 100% agree with my ban and I have no excuse for why I did it ,my brain just wasnt working I guess and I thought itd be like starting a new life

Why should we unban you ?: Even though I did deserve to get banned, I also think/hope to deserve a second chance. I have been playing for a short while and yet Ive began developing Rock's story by forming connections, with taxi drivers, police men, nhs workers, and criminals and Im very invested in my plot and hope to watch it play out. If you admins would be kind enough to give me a second chance then I would like to be put on probation just to prove myself and that I wont break another rule . I have never played a server like roleplay.uk as I had a certain itch I couldnt scratch till now after watching top boy .

I would like to add that when I was saying my brain wasnt working I dont mean to take the blame off of me. I was 100% in control and so I should not had even said that, please ignore it 

 
You have't really given us an answer to the first question, have you? In your own words, please type why you think you were banned, give it another shot and give us a proper explaination

 
Yes, sorry.  I believe I was banned for transfering money from one character to another.  This is a legitemate reason for a ban as it is clearly stated in both community and gta rules, and yet I still did it. I shouldve read the rules more carefully intstead of briefly skimming over them like it was a terms of service on a random website.  I assumed it was ok as it would be like starting a new character since I didnt own anything on the one I transferred it to and I had less then 300 bucks. I just didnt want to spend time making a new character with the outfit. I now realize that the 7 minutes I was trying to spair have cost me up to an eternity if it is a permanent ban of not playing on that character and I am trying to repent. I am not the mod or the admin on top of this so I have no right to say what my punishment should be and whether I should or shouldnt get a second chance however I hope to atleast propose something. 

This is my first rule break and I do regret doing it and have not a single doubt that I wont ever go even close to another rule break, so if whoever is incharge of this case would be kind enough as to delete all my characters, everything I own , and give me a start from scratch.  

This is just a proposal and im not trying to tell anybody what to do as you guy's have the say in the matter (rightfully). I also do take full responsibility to my actions and I have no excuse for them whatsoever. This being my first rulebreak also shouldnt matter since its still a rulebreak and a criminal wouldnt be charged less time on his crime because it was a first as it shouldnt have even happened.  

If there is anything else I could answer for you or anything whatsoever that might help with your decision just let me know.

So let's say you were in the same situation again, what would you have done differently?

 
I wouldve either started a new character or just went and made some cash by taxis or something instead of transferring inbetween characters. Sry for the late reply but i was sleeping 

 
Ok, could you quote me the rule you broke, explain it in your own words and also explain why this rule is in place.

 
C 2.2

Exploiting - Using or attempting to use any exploits in any of our community game servers such as but not limited to duplication of items or money, transferring/processing items through walls and windows or bypassing intended animations. Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not get abused in the future.

(G2.9) Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method.

It means you cant make a new character and use the starter money on that character to benefit a different character. The reason its inplace is because Roleplay.co.uk is meant to be realistic and part of the fun of the game is struggling on money or making it, so this ruins half the game. If everyone did this they would have up to 140 000 off rip which just isnt realistic. It also is extreme meta-gaming and exploiting which takes away from people who have spent time on making the money themselves just for ignorant cunts like me to try to be smart and pull this kinda of thing.

That's just one example, the one affecting you, can you thing of any other situations where this rule would come into play?

 
Yes sorry, Whilst rule G 2.9 is liumited to one example,  Rule c2.2 is exploiting in general. This can include finding a place to glitch through a wall or another place and kill people. Basically any none core game mechanic that other players dont have access to and gives you an unatural edge against them. For an example , If someone was in a room with two doors out, one was locked but on the other side were his allies, and the other was open but it had an enemy gang in it coming to kill him . An exploit would be somehow passing the items the man trapped inside has on him to his allies through the door or a wall so his enemies dont get them. This isnt a core mechanic of the game and it isnt realistic as you cant pass objects through doors in real life so the only thing it is, is a method for him to save his items. This exploit limited a different gang  from robbing a players and therefore possibly worsened there roleplaying experience. 

 
Right, but back to G2.9, does it only apply to making a new characters to give money to older chars or do you think there are some different situations where this rule would also apply?

 
It doesnt. Items are also included, so another scenario might be if a sperate gang wants a certain drug your character has. They are going to raid you and your assests so you decide to drop it somewhere, and go get it with your other character who then you stop using effectively blocking the gang from getting those drugs. You could also give other characters guns, cars, and houses 

 
Okay, now due to the nature of this rulebreak before you'd be unbanned all of your characters would be deleted, you'd start from zero, do you agree to these terms?

 
Okay, in that case i'll need to get some people involved to get that done, will let you know once all was done as the ban was lifted.

 
Right, it's done, ban lifted, fresh start for you. You were new, made a mistake, it's fine, but it's best if we won't see you in this section again, it won't be this easy next time.
