Unban Appeal for RedQuirk
In-game Name: ReddieRich on Mike Castle

Reason given for your ban: Economy Protection / G8.2
In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned to prevent abuse of my role on my cop character, Mike Castle. As per the economy tag line in the ban reason.
To give background on the situation as I saw it in 2021:
This was my 'roleplay story line'
mike castle is witnessed 'abusing a policy custody' (tinky caught me in his sex shop when he ran some random street gang)
tinky extorts mike castle to 'raid the armoury stash'
mike castle stays quiet about the incident / perhaps loses his badge but remains under 'blackmail' until the debt is settled with tinky.
perhaps involve Weazel news etc to make a statement / whistle blow.

I was banned after he payed me my "cut" of the shush money. in hindsight, I recognise this could be cogniscient of trying to get money easy on my cop. I wasn't doing that, I was trying to role play blackmail. I didn't expect to be "caught out", I had honest intentions. I did not expect to be caught in a sting for 'crashing the economy on weapons'. In my opinion, flooding the market randomly added a bit of 'spice' to the roleplay experience on roleplay.co.uk at the time.
I would estimate i flooded about 500 combat pistols and as a result a new development feature came out which made combat pistols have a chance of 'rusting' or breaking when being dropped by police.
Why should we unban you ?:
Why in 2023, should you unban me for something I carried out at a different time in my life over 2 years ago?
I would like to re-play in the community. That is it, roleplay.co.uk, in the past has a very good and mature roleplay experience. I fell in with a poor crowd of RPers and have since distanced myself on other gaming/social media from those main "bad apples". I have been an 'old school' Arma 3 RPer since 2015 and became a recent convert to GTA roleplay.co.uk RP in 2020. I would like to relive the nostolgia, I understand if I have to wipe/restart over with completely fresh 'roleplay' identities and money. In fact a restart fresh would be my preferred choice, perma off the old constable 'Mike Castle' because that rp was getting bored and I clearly can't be trusted with the responsibility.
If that emotional paragraph above didn't convince you, I would like to share a reality for my life in 2021,
One of the main drivers for co-operating with "Tinky" and helping him to "sell him police pistols bulk, cheaply" was because in real life I was rather busy. I had pressure to play on both my 'criminal', Reddie Rich and my 'police', Mike Castle. I was working full-time, doing lots of stuff and had consistent hounding on social media like discord from members of the police command at the time to
"be more active"
"play more on your cop"
"come to discord I need to speak to you"
For someone who has very little time or reduced time, these messages weren't very effective or cogniscent to wanting to make me play. If those people are still in the community, constructively I'd suggest replacing the above messages with something like:
"hey @redquirk, you don't seem to be on much the last two months. Do you still play gta rp?"
"Hi @redquirk, I'd like to talk to you about a META incident on gta-rp roleplay.co.uk. Something happened which will have your account suspended unless I can get a witness testimony or a conversation to defend your case? Just looking for facts thanks."
I realise that I had done something 'wrong' in the eyes of the community rules but at the time, it wasn't explicitly denied to be a 'dirty cop'. I had sold two van loads of combat pistols to tinky, no idea what the criminal market worth was for one combat pistol so in my eyes I had helped him develop his role play experience. Get more money, he was an experienced roleplayer in comparison to me (apparently he sold the proceeds to a street gang and used that to buy an extremely expensive gun laundered from LOST MC?. Perhaps that would jog the memory of the person who banned me.
I would like to close this appeal by thanking anyone who has read the appeal, please feel free to ask any questions in the response. Happy to have a civil discussion but I really do hope now that you have moved away from 'perma ban' system to a warning based system I might be unbanned to rejoin playing on the excellent RP gta 5 server you guys have.
