Why do you think you were banned: I transferred money to a new character without realising it wasnt allowed.
Why should we unban you: So I'm sure you lot hear this loads but it was just a genuine mistake, me and a friend wanted to start fresh once we learned the server and I DID check the rules for a rule against transferring but must have gone right over it. A friend of mine was banned for the same reason because of my own fault.

Essentially I looked at the rules, couldn't see it and thought maybe because we technically worked for the money we could transfer over. I also deleted the other character so it didn't look like I was doing it to dodge anything as it was just to start fresh.

Roleplay is a proper good server, we haven't been able to find one like it. RP on point and we loved the systems in place such as the homes etc not to mention British liveries which is hard to find. The severity is bang on for us.

Completely understandable why I have been banned. really i should have double checked with staff to make sure.

That being said we weren't banned for any hostile or game breaking reason so I feel given another chance now we know to triple check the rules then we wont break any rules by accident.

Not that this matters but I don't even think it was a huge amount, it was just so we could continue a little better in a new life together (as i type this idk why I thought this would be allowed)

I played this everyday before and after work, communities sound and we got involved in gangs pretty quick which was great fun.

I also got banned a while back now (in October) right before I moved house so wasn't able to appeal for a while but in that time its given me time to read the rules properly.

Bottom line I have no excuse, I didn't see the rule after reading over them and it was not intentional I'm more than aware you would be able to track something like that anyway.

Hope this is enough to give me another chance because we do miss playing and we never had any admin issues etc prior.

Everyone gets the same start BY DESIGN.
You've gone out of your way to bypass that fair start.
It can very much be hostile and game-breaking, it directly tampers with the economy.

I appreciate the effort so I'll ask,
Should your appeal be successful you'll have a full character wipe.
Do you agree to this unban condition?

Hi there, thanks for getting back to me.

And you are completely right to say that, it does mess with economy which entail is game breaking and I should just start completely fresh the same as everyone else once I start a new character.

I agree to the condition of having a full character wipe if I were to be unbanned and will double effort to look over the rules each time im unsure of something I might be about to do IC.

Can you tell me what the rule G2.9 and G3.5 is in your own words, and why we have them in place?

Hi there,

I have had a thorough read through the rules since being banned and more recently since creating this appeal. I believe I have a very good understanding of the rules now and will continue to read them before/during each session to ensure I dont break any rules further.

Rule G2.9 is regarding the rule I broke to cause this ban and is the transfer of funds between characters. This rule is in place to ensure every player in the city has a fair and equal start. Im also sure its to avoid any dodging of said funds by sending it to another account to keep it "safe" from being used for fines etc.

Rule G3.5 is regarding character separation. This entails each character having its own unique line of information and reason without the use of information from other characters. For example if I was to die/be robbed etc using "John Doe" I cannot then switch to "Michael Reeves" and avenge or action on John Does accounts. This rules is in place as it ensures the severity of roleplay and the characters within. If everyone could use information from one character and transfer it to another it would seriously break roleplay and cause issues throughout both characters communities.

I will ensure that neither of these rules are broken by me again and take these to rules into account should I be unbanned.

In regards to which character I would like to keep I actually plan to start a fresh character should I be unbanned to ensure a fresh slate on my part, however if I have to chose one it would be Max Callan to keep although I am happy for all to be deleted so I can start completely fresh as im sure a lot has changed within the server and the roleplay since last year.

In answer to your first question I would like an entire character wipe please.

In terms of my plans for my new character I plan to base him much off my personal life, previously on all my characters I went down the route of illegal income and lifestyle such as dealing bud and eventually moving onto coke whilst interacting with gangs. In my new character I want to attempt to follow a more legal path to begin with. Essentially deliveries, bin runs and I also plan to get back a hunting license as I applied and was accepted in a previous character and enjoying it but I didn't use it an awful lot due to this ban.

Essentially I want to learn the city again, I want to get to know people in high places eventually and get involved in some "less conflicting" roleplay as dealing and being involved with gangs came with a lot of looking over my shoulder. I also have a friend, who as I stated in my first appeal post was banned for this exact same reason, fault of my prior poor checking of the rules. I plan to get started again with him so I do have a friend eventually.

All that being said I do eventually one day plan to get involved again in the criminal scene, I have always enjoyed it and I just think last time I got carried away and we made some big moves too early, resulting in me and my friend wanting to restart and entail getting us banned.

If I am ever unsure of something I would firstly consult anyone I may come across/befriend in city. If I have checked the rules and did not find the information I have looked for I would finally go to the discord to ask for any input. If I cant find anything on it then I simply wont do it until I know for sure, saves a situation like this happening again.

I can say this was an honest mistake, I did really enjoy Roleplay and I never intended to cause an action to get me banned.

Whilst you say it was an honest mistake, there was still some intention behind what you were doing which lead you to be banned.
Take this as a learning curve.

However, I am willing to give you a chance as your record is fairly clean, please do not make me regret this.
Should you be found to break the same rules, you'll be back here with very minimal chance of returning.

Your characters will be fully wiped and deleted, to give you a fresh start.
This may take a little time, so please be patient.
