Unban Appeal for Paroozal

Reason given for your ban: Being Disrespectful / Breaking NLR / Argumentative

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I were doing the same roleplay which was basically snitching at coalition and being obnoxious. When I was pulled in by the gods which were actually being nice even though they dealt with me before, I started insulting them. They were going to give a temp ban but I kept being a dick. There isn't any excuse for what I did and do apologize for my behaviour.

Why should we unban you ?: I am relatively new to roleplay, I started playing because friends were playing. Although that isn't a good excuse for my actions, I regret what I did and will make sure to be respectful and to improve at RP as I did enjoy my time spent on the server.

So I've had a look over your ban, Lets start with your logic. If you was informed you would been given a temporary ban why would you abuse the staff member that was trying to help you?

Also you fail to mention in your appeal all the messages you sent on tweedle. So explain your reason behind all of this and why we should even consider the appeal?

To be honest, there was no logic behind this with the staff memebers. I being childish and not taking anything seriously, which now I've had time to reflect on I do regret I would like to apologise to the staff members that were trying to help, no excuses.

With the messages on tweedle, I had not fully read over the rules and wasn't aware that what I had said wasn't allowed. In hignsight it should've been common sense that this wouldn't be okay, but I was being stupid. If I was to be unbanned I can assure you any scenario like this wouldn't happen and and I will 100% be improving my RP.

I do fully appreciate what I did was wrong and childish, and I do understand if the appeal isn't considered.

Is this something you do often, Not taking things serious? 

Indeed you was trying to be helped by the staff member at the time as it's something you could of learned from with the temporary ban however did end up getting a permanent ban instead of learning whilst you was being talked to. 

What you said to the staff member, Is this something you say often ? If not then why now does it happen? 

If you had the option to redo the situation that got you here what would of been different?

I usually take things seriously, this isn't something that ever really occurs, and I am disappointed in myself for acting the way I did towards the staff members when they were trying to help me.

The things that I said and the language I used, is not something that I would ever really use. I was frustrated this day in things outside of the game and let myself down by bringing this into RP and acting like a complete fool. I can't find an excuse nor would want to use an excuse as to why I did what I did, it was childish and irresponsible, and just disrespectful.

If I had the chance to redo the whole situation, I would take more time in character to improve my RP and really get into what the server is about. In regards to the staff situation, I would take the temporary ban that was generously been given to me and apologise for the situation that got me there in the first place. Again, to those staff members I would like to apologise for the situation as a whole, and I can assure you if I was ever considered for another chance, this would not happen again.

Can you please quote the rule you broke and explain in your own words why we you believe we have such a rule in place?

 
Thanks for replying again Stuart, I believe the rule I broke that led to this permanent ban would be (C6.2) - Abuse/swearing or unpleasant behaviour towards the staff team is not acceptable. This rule is in place as the staff members are there purely to be helpful and resolve any issues within the city. More so I would say the rule is in place as you should treat others how you would expect to be treat, especially when the only intention is to help. Thanks

 
Whilst this rule you've quoted could apply this wasn't the rule that you was banned for. Try and log into the server and you should see the rule that you broke that got you here, Once done please answer the above.

So the rule would be (C1.2) Discrimination - Do not express discriminatory or otherwise offensive views. This is no place for racism, religious hatred, ageism, sexism, homophobia, gender or disability discrimination.

This rule of course would be in place, as nobody deserves to have any type discriminatory or offensive slurs used towards them under any circumstances. Everybody should be treat the same regardless of race, religion, sex, gender and so forth...

Again, I would like to apologise again for these actions, the more I go over the appeal and the rules I am deeply disappointed in myself for what happened and ashamed at the way I acted. I regret getting being so stupid and letting things outside of the game come into the game. I hope I can be given another chance, and will not waste the opportunity if given.

Could you explain what you mean by this please "I regret getting being so stupid and letting things outside of the game come into the game" Makes me believe this is the way you act in real life as you did in game, Is this the case? 

In relation to why you've been banned, How can we assure this doesn't happen moving forth?

 
Hi,

This is not what I meant by this comment, this is certainly not how I act in real life. This is not how I would usually act in game for that matter.

I had external factors going on in real life which affected my mood at the time of this situation occurring, which for whatever stupid reason I decided to act like a fool instead of accepting my punishment originally and being stupid and disrespecting the staff.

This situation will not occur again, I intend to immensely improve my RP and use my common sense to know what is and isn’t ok. I have re-read the rules multiple times to ensure I don’t break any, in regards to the disrespect to the staff, if I was ever in this situation again (I will make sure I am not) I would accept what the staff have to say when trying to be helpful and treat them as I except to be treat.

I do understand why you would be sceptical as what I did was wrong and utterly stupid. All I can do is give you my word and prove to you this won’t happen again.

Whilst talking with anyone it's always good to have this thought in your mind as you mentioned "Treat others how you wish to be treated", Helps a lot and gives you a better understanding if you should or shouldn't do something as with this the rules then are very simple and straight forward.

Indeed doing what you did wasn't a smart move and just give you a longer time to think about what you did over taking the temporary ban and would of been back in game by now. I'm glad you have taken the time to re-read the rules to ensure something like this never happens moving forward. 

With that being said I'll hold you to your word and give you an opportunity to prove us wrong, Words do get you so far however showing an understanding what you did was wrong and holding yourself accountable did help you in getting this chance. If you do end up receiving a ban within a 6 month period then you will end up right back here and should that happen it won't be as easy as it was this time. 

I've gone ahead and issued your unban and I do hope not to see you back in this section moving forward, Learn from what's happened and with some luck we won't have to see you back here. Welcome back!
