Unban Appeal for OwainOwjo

Reason given for your ban: G3.1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Hey. Went to jump on after not playing for a few days and was met with a ban. Not entirely sure why I was banned. Played a few days ago, did some RP and then logged off. Came on today and was banned. Any clarification on this would be great. I checked the player reports to see if maybe someone had reported me, but couldn't find anything. If there's any additional information on this, I would be happy to clear anything up.

Why should we unban you ?: Again, not really sure what RP situation I was banned over, so not really sure what to do. Eager to get this resolved so I can get back to playing.

A player report was not the spark of your ban, you were seen by a member of staff whom was going to have a chat with you however you had logged off before they had a chance hence the ban being placed.

Given the fact you know the rule code given on your ban, have a look through the rules and you tell me what you think you've been banned for.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I appreciate you taking the time to look into this for me.

The only thing I can think of in regards to OOC is maybe that near the end of my play session, I was in a quiet area of the map with my friend and we were communicating through Discord rather than in-game? I appreciate that although there were no other players around, it does not promote good roleplay and also encourages the temptation to abuse OOC.

If this is the case, I apologize. We were winding down before leaving and were just mindlessly running around. Given the opportunity, I will be more conscious of this in the future.

Bingo! I appreciate you being honest about communicating via Discord with your friend whilst in game.

The issued lies where you had both met up, you had done this without any in-game communication and it was all done through Discord. 
There was no possible way for you guys to have known the exact location of each other without communicating hence it being extremely obvious that this was done via OOC methods which would fall under G3.1!

Why did you do this? 
Had you read all of the rules before joining the server?

Thanks again for being on top of this for me. I appreciate your time.

We communicated with Discord about our location mainly because we were looking to stop playing for the day, so were just running around in our own little world, not interacting with anyone else. We had just respawned after being killed. It was a victimless crime, but I do appreciate that the rules of roleplay should always be respected, regardless of the situation. And although in this case OOC did not hinder another player's experience, it's not a reason to do it.

I had read the rules when I started playing. Given the opportunity to be unbanned, I would be happy to refresh myself with them.

This very may well have been a "Victimless Crime" on this occasion but you have still disregarded our rules anyhow by doing this.
You had met up in game via OOC methods. If you were to get unbanned now how am I to trust that you're not going to go ahead and do this again to gain yourself an advantage?

If you had read the rules then I'm unsure as to why you've gone ahead and disregarded them, or is it a case that you didn't truly read the rules but now upon receiving a permanent ban you're suddenly interested?

The appeal has been Timed out, We are unable to keep ban appeals open indefinitely, You may reopen a new appeal but don’t forget to give our rules a thorough read over again here.
