Why do you think you were banned: Being part of a group deemed "disruptive towards the community", however, I do not know where my actions and/or part was involved in this and therefore the true reason I cannot clearly state.
Why should we unban you: Firstly, I understand that this process may be time-consuming and take a good amount, effort and understanding to get through, and I thank the member(s) of staff responding to this appeal for the time they are spending today, I hope that your day is going well.
I must address the obvious first, why am I appealing this early ( Before my 6-month cooldown is finished on (05/10/2024) )? I am doing so as I have reflected on my past mistakes and come to terms with my ban. Initially, I gained a somewhat feeling that I was being targeted and ignored by the Staff handling my case as I simply could not agree with my ban. However, after the time spent away reflecting on this idea, I have realised that I was taken as a collective from a disturbance in the community that required necessary attention. In all honestly, I miss the community I was once part of for over a year and a half, and I was hoping to be able to come back to it, however in the end, if this appeal gets denied until I can appeal again on the correct time stated, I understand as "free passes" cannot be granted left right and centre for those undeserving.
As for the Staff(s) reading this appeal, I would hope that you look at me as an individual and not as a collective of the group I was once part of many months ago, However, I will address this group "Alliance". I came into contact with this group as I had known a few of their members many months ago and decided that my time in Grove was over and I needed a fresh start. I noticed that Alliance was a group that had recently been rebuilt and appeared promising to the point where I believed we would make a standpoint in the city and a whole new storyline of a group rebuilding and rising. Unfortunately and clearly, this was not the case. My 9 months in Grove were phenomenal, where I gained an understanding of the city with a group of people who guided me and took their time to teach ways of rping I could never imagine. I must admit that losing the War against Ballas had led to my character feeling frustrated and annoyed with the outcome, however upon inspection, I noticed the win mentality being taken out within my RP which ultimately ended up with me joining Alliance. I will say that my mentality did gain a preference to "frag" however at every corner of interaction, I attempted to give great RP experiences. I must admit during this time apart, I slowly noticed a decline, however, I hope to return to this community and bring the high-quality standards I believed I once had back into the city.
No as to the question "Why should we unban you". Firstly I must highlight the fact that prior to this incident, I had never been a disturbance in the community. I have never previously received a ban - let alone a warning - of any sort, this must highlight that although my previous ties to the group, I am no disturbance within the community. I have always remained within the Server and Community rules to the point where it has warranted no other person within this community to put up a complaint about me. I hope that my "clean record" will help you understand why I should be allowed into this community again and how you can trust that if I were to be let back in, you would not have to worry about whether I will be a problem or not. I have shown throughout my time on this server that I am not someone who "rulebreaks" or ruins other people's roleplay, and therefore I hope that you can see having me back in the community is a positive and not a liability.
I will also quickly address the 1.6 Community ban. Other members of the group decided to post videos within the discord, I had no involvement with this however was removed from the discords as a result of others actions.
You may ask what might I plan on doing once returning, well as RP is frantic, uncontrollable, and random there is no straight answer! However, the path my character takes would perhaps be to find a new family. There is already a group of people awaiting my return under the surname of "Just" which could be a route my character explores as I have had many great experiences with them and others within the community. Obviously, my character may wish to retrace his steps and see how his old family Grove is doing which obviously may result in welcoming or unwelcoming arms. Obviously, since my departure, the city has changed, people have come and gone and there are new avenues to pursue. The only true way to find out is by rping and seeing where it takes my character.
I understand that this is a long read, however, I cannot emphasise enough how I wish to come across within my writing. I hope the member of staff reading this can see my perspective. Any questions I will happily answer to the best of my ability, I hope you have a great evening.
