Reason given for your ban: Forum report for g3.1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned due to meta-gaming through hot mic'ing while in a discord call, unfortunately at the time I wasn't really thinking the extent my actions would have on the other players and put them at an unfair disadvantage, thankfully the outcome of the situation didn't change however that does not excuse my actions or how I behaved. Not only that but I then proceeded to lie in TeamSpeak which I am deeply sorry for and ashamed for doing.

Why should we unban you ?:  I’d like to start off by saying that my behaviour displayed during this particular situation is not how I would usually act, normally when I die in game I just get on with it however in this instance I did not which is what I regret, at first it just started as me and friends joking around and I just got carried away within the joking, which evidently escalated into meta-gaming, I would like to point out I wasn't really to fussed on losing or winning the situation.

I'm always trying to actively better my role-play and the impact my character has on the community. I'd like to think that a lot of people genuinely enjoy the role-play I provide and like having me around as I always try to make the most of my role-play situations and try to make it fun for all parties involved.

If you ask why I should I be unbanned I would argue in my last appeal I gave my word I wouldn't reoffend the NVL rule as to which so far I have kept my word on and continued to try and better myself and my character within the community. Overall I would really appreciate another chance to actively stay and be apart of the community as I thoroughly do enjoy this community and all the friends I have made within the my time here that I still regularly speak to.

I was sat in the discord watching the stream yes but I don't believe I was on the server throughout the polices operation

I honestly didn't think I was on the server at the time and if I was it definitely did not change my course of role-play. I'd like to think I normally can separate out of character information with the knowledge I gain and give through role-play.

I wouldn't say I was involved with the Robz situation yes I watched the stream but can guarantee nothing I seen within the stream my character knew, in fact you're correct I was on the server I believe I was serving a 5000+ month sentence.

At the time I genuinely didn't realise as it was during the time I served my 5k+ prison sentence and I didn't log on as much as I normally do so it took me a moment to realise my mistake, hence why I corrected myself.

I am aware that his ban was classed as meta-gaming and even though I understand and respect the admins decision on this ban during that moment on discord for me and my friends it was nothing more than a friend streaming his game to us, which happens on the server daily not only via discord but also YouTube or Twitch for example. I personally didn't gain anything from the stream and it was nothing more than friends spending time. I believe that it is up to the individual viewers if they can't separate spending time with friends and seeing their gameplay ooc and actually having such information in-game

So going from you have stated here. You was speaking and streaming to Ryan on discord whilst being downed and in a roleplay situation. Is it his fault that he acted upon things you said or your fault for streaming it?

For this situation I believe I am mainly in the wrong for streaming the whole situation but mainly because I began to talk to him about the situation and what was going on, but then I also feel Ryan is also in the wrong for turning up to the scene. 

I do really enjoy playing the server and getting a better understanding on these situations, as it helps me learn and improve my knowledge of the rules. Which will hopefully benefit myself from getting into any sort of rule-breaks, granted you or any other staff member allows me to return. I can only apologise for what I've done and try my best to learn from this.

Interesting... So you finished your prison sentence just before the 8pm restart. Which means you was out of prison during the raid. What was you doing? So far you started this appeal of with an apology for telling a lie. You have then stated you wasn't on the server during the raid. You then stated you was serving a prison sentence during the raid and both times you didn't tell the truth. So you going to start being honest with me since you like to give your word of a man who won't break anymore rules.

This is now your 4th ban, you have also had multiple warnings. How many times do you need to be given a chance to follow rules on the server? Why would this time be any different if given yet another chance?

I want to start my response here by stating I've not once intentionally lied to you on this appeal I know there is logs for almost everything and I also know that lying will hinder my chances of returning and also make me look bad lying to staff, like I've stated I do really enjoy my playing time on the server and lying to you would not get me anywhere close to returning I can only apologise for messing you around/ wasting your time having to go and check my logs but I genuinely didn't believe I was on the server at the first thought.

I was in fact in prison but not for the 5k months sentence. I was reminded by someone I was in prison with, I was put into prison before the 8pm server restart and served my sentence which would've ended either shortly before the 8pm restart or just after it, I however decided to stay in prison for a little longer as I was speaking with 2 of my gang members (Raj Patel) (Ryan Bloggers) who were also put into prison for the same situation, which would've been a shootout between The Coalition and The Vagos, they were sentenced well after me as they was speaking with the arresting officer a lot and also a solicitor, not sure if you can see the logs for this but if you can it should back me up.

Honest to god I didn't really remember if I wasn't on or in prison at the time until you mentioned it and I have sat thinking about it (that's why it may look dodgy on my replies) it's just something that wasn't a big deal or I paid much attention to at the time, it never influenced my course of decisions or my actions. I would have been watching the stream on my other monitor just something to look at from time to time and not really invest my full focus on it while I was in prison, that's why when you asked these questions I am honestly just trying to remember the day as it was some time ago. That's why my first reaction was I wasn't on the server at the time (because when I am actively within the city role-playing I wouldn't have another stream open as it would distract from my role-play) and then was reminded by someone I was in fact in prison.

When I got out from prison after the 8pm restart I would've most likely gone to ranch and went about my role-play, I'm not sure what I did where I went or who I would've spoken to, if I had have gone to 'Vagos turf' it would've been with The Coalition members as the 2 gangs are in a active war.

Like you said this is my 4th ban and multiple warnings, I probably have had more than enough chances (which is why I'm thankful to yourself and the wider staff team that are giving me a chance to appeal again) I do try my best to learn from every situation regardless if it's a ban or a warning, I'm only human and will make mistakes I can only say I'm sorry to yourself and the people involved in these situations and the wider staff team who's time could be spent doing better things than dealing with me. I am really trying my best to learn and get a better understanding on the rules and situations similar to this to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Ban 1 - Banned for G4.4 - Whilst being down and injured you was speaking on your radio. (1 day) 
Ban 2 - Banned for G2.4 & C2.2 - Despite being cuffed and tased multiple times you continued to ignore what was happening and exploit a bug to your advantage which allowed you to escape being cuffed due to carrying somebody.  (Perm Banned - Appealed Successfully)
Ban 3 - Banned for G2.4 - Failed to value your life (Perm Banned - Appealed Successfully)
Ban 4 - Banned for G3.1 - Current ban, when first questioned you decided to try and lie regarding this.

Warning 1 - Breaking RP - warned and told to read the rules
Warning 2 - Trolling police, No valid RP just messing around interrupting RP etc. Was kicked off the server because of this.
Warning 3 - G2.4 Again in this list. Was robbed by a group and failed to meet the demands and ended up leaving the situation and handing over stuff you said you didn't have to a friend.
Warning 4 - Announcement was put out regarding people misusing OOC you continued to misuse OOC and was kicked. 

Yet despite all of the chances you have already been given you want yet another chance. You have made far to many mistakes to be given another chance at this moment in time.

Therefore this appeal is going to be denied, putting your record a side, your metagaming ban was a bad rule break and it is not a mistake, you meant what you did the mistake was you got caught. 
 

You can appeal your ban after 6 months (26/08/2022)
