Reason given for your ban: C2.3

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned because i combat logged while i was dead in a roleplay encounter

Why should we unban you ?: I think I should be unbanned because I wouldn't make same mistake again. I combat logged because i was having a terrible day due to personal issues and when I was called names and attacked for no reason i decided it was best for me to leave before I get more upset. I really enjoyed playing on the server and had a really fun time playing and talking to the community and i hope you can unban me

Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).

 Combat Logging is an Exploit and ruins roleplay encounters. You have this rule on the server to keep the roleplay experience more real and immersive because if players were to combat log during police chases it ruins the encounter entirely which deserves a ban. I left the server because I was being harassed for no reason so I left because I was having a bad day

You said you logged out due to personal issues, but also being called names and attacked. The latter is going to happen if you return, so how do we ensure you don't repeat the same actions and break C2.3 when it inevitably occurs again?

 
Hello 

I can accept being called names and being attacked perfectly fine. It was just that I was having a bad day due to the personal issues. I’ve also played on other Roleplay servers during my time being banned and I’ve realised that I should never Leave a server during roleplay encounters, i can promise I won’t ever combat log again on the server, RPUK is the only server I enjoy playing and I would be gutted if I was banned permanently

But this is bound to happen from time to time, does this mean if you have a bad day again, the same thing will occur?

No it will not happen again. I’ve realised and grown to understand that combat logging isn’t acceptable full stop. if I was to have a bad day again while playing I will stay in my role and not quit when I’m called names because I don’t want to be banned again from the server I enjoy so much. 

 
Before we finish the appeal, I want to touch on another point.

Whilst downed, you failed to roleplay your injuries and was instead acting beligerant to those around you. Do you understand this isn't acceptable, either?

Yes 100% I understand that it’s unacceptable to do this. The lack of role playing my injuries was because I was annoyed and upset I was targeted for no reason, I understand that that i should’ve roleplayed accordingly and stayed in the server now, but at that time I left because I didn’t want to be harassed anymore. I do completely understand that it’ wasn’t acceptable to do that and I am sorry to the players I was belligerent to.
