Reason given for your ban: Reason given for your ban: C2.2 Exploiting, G2.9 Transferring money between characters.

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned on the 4th September 2022 due to Exploiting which is a rule break under C2.2 and transferring money between characters which breaks rule G2.9.

Why should we unban you ?:  Let me just start off by apologising straight off the bat and I want to be honest in this unban appeal to regain some of your trust, which I am aware I have lost at this present time. I was in RPUK and exploited by emoting through 4 locked doors to have a look around if I am being 100% real, I did not read the rules when I joined the community and I am aware this is a stupid mistake as now I am here in the unban section which is embarrassing for me as I should have known better and read the rules.

Moving on to my second rule break, G2.9 transferring money between characters: I transferred £100k from one of my characters to another. Why did I do this I was struggling for money on my other character and really wanted to progress his storyline, Again I hadn’t read the rules so I was genuinely unaware of this being a rule break but after reading the rules I can clearly see I screwed up and broke rules.
I have taken the time to read all the rules and have a better understanding of the RPUK community and can see why you have the rules you do; the rules are in place to make the community realistic and fair on everyone that plays on it.

Moving forth I am aware of the rules and will not be stupid and break rules again, I hold my hands up to my wrongdoing and I fully understand the ban and why its perm needing an appeal.

If given a second chance within the community I would like to bring some high-quality RP to the city, this is genuinely by far the best server on FiveM in my opinion and I have met some fantastic people and gained some new friends. I would be grateful for a second chance and if it was needed, I would accept a fresh start with character wipes or start completely new.

Once again, I am sincerely sorry for my rule breaks, I have now studied the rules so if given a second chance I should not find myself back in the unban section again.

Well, I have to say we do appreciate the effort thus far and honesty. You've mentioned you didn't read the rules, Why didn't you take the time to do this before hand when given the link on the character creation screen? 

In relation to exploiting, How many times have you done this prior to this ban? 

You transferred the money because the storyline was slowing, Why didn't you earn money legitimately like other players spend time doing? 

 
Me not reading the rules was purely down to ignorance I believed that I understood the basic rules which I clearly didn't. Instead of reading and understanding the rules I just scanned through barely acknowledging them started playing due to my impatience. The exploiting was all within the same night I believe, I was emoting through walls because my curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to see what certain building's interior looked like which I admit was very stupid, what makes this worse is I was aware that this was a rule break.

In relation to the transferring of money between characters I was not aware of this rule, but I now understand why it is not allowed, I believe I was low on money or imprisoned on my main character so thought it would be fine to switch and taxi with the start up money. I was wrong for doing this. I normally do just spend my days taxiing and give great rp with members of the city but as shown I have let myself down with my stupidity and ignorance. If given the second chance I would not be in this situation as I really enjoy the server and the people within.

What made you believe these wouldn't of been a rule? In almost any game these days this is bannable so why would here be any different?

Whilst yes you state it's a mistake it's a very big "Mistake" is it not? 

 
All in all this was my first roleplay server/game and instead of looking through the rules i decided to learn through the experience. Which again is no fault but my own.

Yes i agree it is a very big mistake to which i realised shortly after receiving the ban. What i did is inexcusable. During this period i have reflected on it, and even though it was a stupid mistake it should have never happened. 

 
So how can we be sure you won't do the same again nor break anymore of our rules should we offer another opportunity? 

Have you ever played on any roleplay game previously or is this the first time overall? 

 
Yes if given the opportunity to be a part of the server again i will not be making the same mistake again or break other rules, i miss being a part of the community. In relation to your second question i have not. This has been my first and only roleplay experience however i do enjoy it.

 
Fair enough, Roleplay as a whole is a way people can escape everyday situations within their personal life and take on a persona of a fictional character and treat this as their life within the environment they are in, Here this would be within GTA. Now a lot of things have a correlation to real life, I.e people you meet, Information gathered per character (Since new characters will need to relearn this), Contacts and the list goes on. 

Lets say you make a new character and you feel the story line is slowing down, What would you do? 

In relation to the story, Was you limiting it to time or? I'm trying to get a better understanding behind the full reason you broke such rules.

 
I’m future i will have the patience to continue no matter how long the story drags on. I will keep my characters separate in the sense of not sharing anything between them and completely different story lines. There is also a lot to do within the city so next time i will just find something. If i was to get imprisoned again i would rp within there as i have learnt you can still have good rp within the prison.

In relation to the story i was limited by time but i was also impatient within the city my friends owed out money so i was trying to help so they weren’t killed. If i’m honest i probably had enough time still serving my full sentence i was just impatient.

 
With bans of this nature and what you did in order to get this money being offered a chance to return comes with some conditions. You currently have two characters, So in turn one will be deleted and you are welcome to keep the other should you like to. Since you mentioned the Jamal character in the main post, I'll assume you wish to keep this one? If not let me know if you would like to keep the other over Jamal. 

In relation to the character you wish to keep a few things will happen, You will receive a full character wipe. This means all money, Vehicles, Items ect will be removed and overall the only thing you will keep is your roleplay memories and things you have done on your character. Do you agree to these terms? 

Furthermore, Can you quote the rules you have broken and in your own words explain why you believe we have such rules in place? 

 
i would like to have Jamal deleted please, i would like a completely fresh start within the city and since that is my criminal character making a new one and starting the grind from scratch would be the best option for me. 

I agree to the terms mentioned.

First rule was C2.2 exploiting to me this means taking advantage of any glitches or failure in a system to my own advantage, in my case glitching through walls.This rule is in place to stop people cheating in anyway as it creates a fair environment.

Second being G2.9 transferring money between characters, to me this is using money obtained from one character to benefit another. This is put in place to stop people from being able to earn money quicker than it should be. It is also realistic as in real life you would not be able to take another persons pay. Like mentioned above it also creates a fair environment meaning everyone is forced to earn money the legit way.

 
So just to confirm both characters you would like deleted and none saved? 

 
No problem, I'll go ahead and request deletion of both characters. Please keep in mind they may take a bit of time to be completed however once done we will update you and move forth with your appeal.

As per the appeal both characters have been wiped and deleted. Moving forth keep in mind what we have discussed during this appeal and be sure you have read both the GTA and Community rules before rejoining the server. When you do rejoin you will need to make a new character and gain all knowledge again since your new characters wouldn't know this. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
