Reason given for your ban: G3.1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Hi there - me and my friend were banned for metagaming as we were sharing OOC information and incorporating this into our roleplay which was a massive mistake on both of our parts. We shared locations to gain and unfair and unrealistic advantage over other players which completely destroys the point of RP in the first place.

Why should we unban you ?: Firstly, I am truly sorry for breaking the rules of the server so egregiously. At the time, I did not think of how many actions would negatively impact everyone else who is trying to participate on the server. Reflecting back on this, it is much more obvious to me how important this rule is abided by as without it, the roleplay in the server would be far more unrealistic and outright silly at times. It was an oversight on my behalf (and one that I take full responsibility for) for not reading the rules properly and in detail before participating in the server. This should've been my first step rather than one I had to partake in after being banned. I can only hold my hands up and take full responsibility for my actions and promise to do better should you wish to give me another chance.

You joined this community a day before you received a permanent ban for a rule break that gives you and your friend the advantage. This is a serious roleplay server, you don't come here to win and use OOC mechanics to put you at the advantage.

How can we trust to ever let you play here again if you broke the most simplest rule...

 
Thanks for your response and apologies for the delay. 

I'm not going to come up with an excuse for why we did what we did as frankly I don't have one. We crossed the line and there is no defending it; the last thing I would want to do is ruin the RP experience for other players but that's what I unintentionally did without even realising.

We were testing out various servers and pushing boundaries (In hindsight, I realise metagaming is a bit more than pushing boundaries) to test whether the server felt like the right fit for us. Over the several hours I spent on your server, I had fun and was genuinely disappointed when I was banned hence me making this appeal right now. 

As for your question: I will admit, you really do have no reason to trust me to play on your server. Obviously getting banned within a day is not a great look and one I am ashamed of. Therefore, as stated in my original message, I can only promise to be better if you'd be so kind as to give me another opportunity to redeem myself.

If you were to be given a second chance on this server, what are your roleplay plans here?

What will you do moving forward to ensure you do not metagame with your OOC friends again? 

Have you read the rules properly which you should have done the first time around and do you now fully understand them all?

Hey Danoo and thanks for your reply. 

Firstly, my first plan of action would be to learn the basics and fundamentals of the server. This is something I failed to do previously as I wanted to jump right into the action without really knowing what I was getting myself into. First and foremost, I would get a starter job to help me understand the economy of the server and allowing me to build up my understanding of how people interract with the functions on the server - this will obviously take time, as reading your rules, there are instances of events etc that I am not familiar with however I am eager to learn and experience something new in the RP world.

As for your second question: The most obvious step I will be taking is to avoid any form of outside contact between me and any friends that are playing on the server. This is a necessary step to preserve the pure and untampered RP on the server - I have seen the error in my ways and it is one I am incredibly sorry for. 

Last but not least, yes I have read the rules and fully understand them. I recognise the severity of these rule breaks and am aware that breaking any of them will most likely lead to another permanent ban placed on my account.
