Reason given for your ban: c2.3

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned for combat logging as it states which i do understand and can accept from the rule's point of view.

Why should we unban you ?: I feel like this is my first mistake on the server and I feel the permanent ban is unnecessary. I understand by the rules that it's an offense and should be punished but I wasn't trying to gain an advantage from the combat log, it was late and I was killed with no reasonable explanation while the game was glitched/bugged as I could not signal the NHS etc or give up to bleed out.

I just hope this can be resolved and the ban can be changed from permanent to something less severe so I can learn from this mistake. I was just starting to meet new people and the RP was becoming more and more interesting each day. thanks for the time and respect your decision.

You've been in this community for 7 months now. You should by now be more than aware of how our fair ban system works.
If you're familiar with the rules as you should be, you'd know that combat logging is a permanent ban which bypasses that system.

Why do you believe it's unnecessary? Everyone here gets treated in exactly the same way and if you've chosen to ignore then rule then ultimately you need to take the consequences attached to it.

I completely agree with what you are saying in terms of the issue being punishable and just want the opportunity to show that I have grown from this.

I believe the system is fair and believe that it will allow me to prove going forward that it won't happen again and there will be no further issues.

As I said previously, it was an honest mistake regarding the unfortunate circumstances of the time of day IRL and being shot for no reason that led me to deal with the issue the following day. I was not trying to gain from the situation of combat logging. This is not me justifying the log it just trying to show my point of view.

I addressed it as 'unnecessary' due to the circumstances I combat logged in. I believe that combat logging is a serious offense and agree permanent bans are a good deterrent but for my circumstances on the night and the good record I have upheld then I would be massively upset.

I believe I have a lot to add to this city with me getting involved with some good RP situations which I believe members could vouch for.

You were shot by another player and then disconnected exactly a minute after hitting the floor.
I do not believe that within 60 seconds you had come to the conclusion you cannot bleed out as there's a 15 minute timer for that to be a possibility. 
This to me, seems a lot like you've been shot and disconnected out of anger?

IF your game was "glitched" and you needed to disconnect whilst down, what are the relevant steps you should take and why did you not do so?

I do not want to come across as the guy who is disregarding what you are saying and trying to make it out as if I am in the right because I am not and trying to show that through this appeal.

However, I strongly disagree with it being 60 seconds after me being shot that I disconnected because I was down for a while speaking to the gang who shot me and then continued to ask for help and try and request the NHS but it would not allow me to. As I understand that this is the wrong process and will refrain from doing this going forward, my actions were tainted by the time of day as it was around 3am and I was just logging off. I also know that I should be more aware of RP'ing at such a late time but I made the gnag aware of my situation and he still chose to shoot me.

I don't want to come across in the wrong light but it definitely wasn't 60 seconds before I disconnected and I fully accept responsibility for the ban. I just believe that the ban being permanent for this scenario is extreme as it was an honest mistake.

You are absolutely correct, I had misread the beginning number and it was indeed 10 minutes in between you going down and logging out. Apologies on my behalf!

How did you attempt to make the gang aware of your situation?

Hi Danoo,

Sorry for the late response, I’ve been away over the weekend.

I made the gang aware verbally, me and my friend both did at the time.

To rejoin the disconnect and reconnect. Like I said previously, it was mainly due to the time this all happened as it was around 3am. I know this does not make this right but I will avoid these actions in the future.

If you had then decided you were not reconnecting to the server again due to the fact it was late and you needed to go to sleep, why did you not follow any of the steps we ask players to do?
All we ask is for players to open a discord ticket at least to make us aware of the situation & why you had to log out (Combat Log).

I am sorry I didn't take the appropriate actions and will make sure I do that in the future if that ever occurs.

Like I said previously, It was solely down to the time of day for why I did not do this. This is not me saying it was right it is just showing you the reasons for my actions in this situation.

I believe I can put this past us and learn from it and allow me to prove this will not happen again going forward.

I am willing to give you another chance on the server given that this is your only punishment on record as of right now.
Please learn from your mistakes, I'm hoping this process has taught you a lesson. 

Any ban you receive now within the next 6 months will take you right back here on a permanent ban and it will not be as easy to return!
