Reason given for your ban: Original Ban G1.2, Then G1.2 ban added onto ban from a report

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: My original ban was a situation that occurred in paleto where I shot before roleplaying. My additional ban was from a report that got accepted and added notoph of my original ban.

Why should we unban you ?: It honestly sucks to be here once again and I'm just going to say that I fully understand why I was banned and my last appeal was denied. I'm here again to show that I would like to play again and show that im ready to rp. At the time I did not consider the negative effect my rule braking had on the other players and would like to sincerely apologize to those involved. I fully accept that my actions were disruptive and had a negative impact on others roleplay experience.

Since being banned I've been keeping in touch with other players and staying within the community whilst also regretting the rule breaks that I committed. I understand that I've been banned quite a few times but I really feel like I've learned from the bans I've been given and cannot see myself committing any other rule breaks.

I hope you can see how genuine I am writing this and that I really want another chance at roleplaying again.

Everyone says they want another chance to roleplay but from your previous bans and the fact you keep ending back here. How can we believe that? What are you going to do IC to show us that you can in fact roleplay and benefit the community?

I understand that it is hard for you to believe that I genuinely would love the chance to be able to roleplay with my friends and other members of this server again, due to the fact I’ve had to appeal many times before this. 

Personally, if you were to accept this appeal and for me to be allowed back onto this server, I can assure you that I will take a bit more time to think and evaluate my options of how I can involve myself into an ongoing situation and enhance my own experience, whilst not taking others experiences away. If I were to act irrationally I would not only be ruining others experiences on the server but also my own.

With having these last few months to reflect upon my actions, not only have I been able to empathise with how my actions have let down the people of the server as I feel I have let myself down as well by being back in this situation. As I said previously, about staying in touch with other players and members of the community over the last few months, I’ve come to realise that I have greatly missed being able to play on the server. 
Additionally, if you had any other personal recommendations so that I could prove to you and others that I do in-fact want to have another chance at playing this server, I am open to listening as I really would love another chance at roleplaying in this community.

You've been in this community for a while now and should be familiar with the rules. 
Can you walk me through your thought process on the evening of your ban? You saying "Dickhead, fuck off now" and then opening fire on multiple people is not exactly high quality RP at all.
This is a roleplay server at the end of the day, not Call of Duty. So why did you let your standards drop and provide such poor roleplay before shooting? 

 
Good evening, Dano. All is well, and I hope you're able to say the same for yourself!

I want to start this by saying I'm familiar with the rules, and I completely understand why punishment was placed upon myself as I was clearly in breach of G1.2. Now, the night of my ban was full of emotions, all built up over months of roleplay, as that situation hadn't happened on a random whim. We had been building tension with the Aztecas ever since the previous war ended, and that RP consisted of several near-war moments with either side poking the bear as far as they could. Due to the intensity of the situation and the energy from the gang that night, my RP had fallen to an extreme low. I took other people's judgement as the final decision in the situation, as I had heard "I've spoken to them" and "They are shooting at us," when in reality this was not the case and spiralled out of control. Despite my gut telling me not to trust other people, I decided against myself and went with the crowd, and as seen, I landed myself a permanent ban on the server. Looking back on it, I took that situation with a W mentality. I wanted to get that first win in what would've turned out to be a lengthy war and let my own personal desires overcome the main objective of RP. The main objective I see within RP is to provide an engaging, unique, and fun experience for all parties involved. RP is supposed to test your imaginative capabilities and give people a pleasurable experience while on the server, as everyone comes home from work or education and wants to wind down and enjoy themselves, not be faced with a one-sided scenario's. 

I've been on a multitude of RP servers within my ban period and re-found my passion for RP as I've come to realise the path I was going down was a "100k or die" type of server, and experiencing high-quality roleplay throughout my ban makes me realise a side to RPUK that I was straying away from over time. If I can return to the server, I'd love to explore avenues of RP I haven't delved into before, whether it be new characters or playing out situations in more depth. In short, I want my time on the server to not only bring myself fun but to make the people I interact with's time on the server just as enjoyable as mine. I appreciate that this may be hard to believe, and asking for chances after being given them sounds ignorant, but I want to rebuild the trust the staff have in me as a person and a RPer.

You say on this occasion (which landed you a ban) you were striving for a win with a "W mentality".
For someone that wants to provide engaging, unique and fun experiences I'm not sure I understand why you let your mindset slip into these standards?

Would you say that you frequently get into a Win/Loss mindset when playing here? 

 
Hi Danoo, thank you for your reply and to answer your question in regards to my mentality during situations such as this one I’d say no. Typically I like to just play situations out and see how they end up naturally as this makes the server fun for me, makes certain situations tense and adds more to them. 

During the situation in question unfortunately this was not the case and I did have this mentality for which I apologise brining into any situation. This whole thing was fuelled by adrenaline and build up of tension between the two factions. In hindsight the approach we had taken as a group wasn’t in any means an acceptable amount of role play. All the tension and adrenaline was already set in and unfortunately on our radio someone had said shots as well as started shooting, which then lead to me following and doing the same. 

That whole situation was a mess and if ever put into such a messy scenario again I’d take myself out of it and allow myself the time to consider what will come and what I should do. I do apologise for my actions and sometimes it’s hard to remember that despite the fact that RPUK is a serious roleplay server that the base game of GTA is nothing I should be losing my mind over, rpuk with the right people can be extremely immersing which I love but I need to be able to distinguish between being immersed in the world around me and having high quality role play to allow others to feel immersed and have fun because that’s why we all originally joined the server.

Hello, @L1L I hope you’re doing well today.

I’ll be honest, throughout the lengthy duration of my ban I cannot recall providing anyone with information that would disrupt the flow of natural RP within the server. The only thing I’ve done which would fall close to this was saying all the contents inside of a container, I already shared within RP,  would belong entirely to the person sharing it. If there’s anything other questions I’ll happily answer them but I honestly cannot think of any incidents similar to the question you’re asking.

Everyone that has the code to it, have they acquired it legitimately or through OOC methods?

I'd like you to be completely honest with me so we can move forward with your appeal.

Devon Hendrix, Omizz Quando, Tayo John(List of people with access to the shared container)

The container in question is not owned by me and yes the code to it was acquired within rp as we split money in order to purchase it a while back. Me and Devon had always shared the contents within the container, so any Items in said container were his to use whenever he'd like.

 
Ban upgraded to a C1.6 and cannot be appealed.
