Reason given for your ban: G2.9

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: My friend created another character and transferred money to me, I never realised this at the time as I was deafened and talking to people in rp. Afterwards he asked me to send him 40k so I did as I have lent him money before. I didn’t find out that this money came from alt characters till we got banned for it.

Why should we unban you ?: I genuinely didn't know he got this money this way till after we got banned for this, had I known this I would have contacted staff to have it removed.

This appeal is lacking a lot of effort, are you telling me the truth here?
Honesty is the best policy in this community and it goes a long way in an appeal.

How could you not realise you've gained 40k in game? 

 
I was deafened while he was doing it, I was in a rp scene at the time, shortly after I undeafened where he asked me to send him 40k which I did (we've lent money to each other before so didn’t think much of it at the time, he had also been arranging to buy some stuff in game and we had been splitting the cash), then shortly after we ended up in another rp scene where I was deafened again then was banned mid scene.  After we figured out why we got banned I found out that he had created another char and transferred the money, at which point I told him that that wasn’t allowed. 

As for how I didn’t realise he transferred me money, I wasn’t told that I was sent the cash and I wasn’t aware of my exact balance and had been grinding taxis the previous night and this morning, hence not realising my balance had changed by that amount.

Please, can I ask you to tell me the truth regarding this ban. Honesty is the best policy within this community.

You were online as Lara Cox, to which your friend had sent you money on two separate characters (Robbie & Loopy) which totalled up to £70,000.
There is 100% chance you knew this was going on, as your friend would've needed your ID for the bank transfer to go ahead.

Moving on, you then send £40,000 of this money back to Jessie Cummings.

- What was the reason for the 40K loan?
- How do you know Jessie?
- How do you know Robbie?
- How do you know Loopy?

 
I was streaming the game to another friend at the time on discord who doesn't play the game so they can watch too, at some point my ID was visible when I opened the menu, I believe this is how my friend knew my ID.

The 40k loan was not something that was uncommon, I have lent him money previously towards buying weapons/illegal items in game (which we were yet to acquire), some of these were around 200k ish.  I have also previously just given smaller amounts (10-20k) to my friend with no expectation of getting it back for various things like cars or modifications for said cars.  I had assumed the money was to purchase some of the items we were looking to acquire previously, we agreed to split costs for these, the items were intended to be split 50/50 so profit would be split, as for weapons, my friend was going to keep a hold of it, I didn't really expect to need it or want use of it anytime soon.

Jessie is my friends character, this was the character he played on when we would play together.  As for the other 2 characters, I literarily found out the names of them from your reply, I found out post ban that he had made these characters but didn't know their names.

I do believe that there would've been some knowledge behind what you were doing.
I know if I were to receive over 70K in game, I'd know about it for one and also be questioning where it's come from.

In relation to bans of the nature, we do usually wipe a character fully, and all others are permanently deleted however in this case due to the low value of the transfer I'd be willing to offer you a wipe of only your bank account and nothing more as punishment.
Do you accept these conditions?

I have issued a wipe on the character 'Lara Cox' as per the unban conditions above.
When you load back in, you will have your cash and bank accounts reset to 0 and you'll need to begin earning again.

Please, take this is a lesson moving forward and have a read over the server rules before re-joining to play! 
Any ban you receive within the next 6 months will be a permanent.
