Why do you think you were banned: Good morning/evening staff,

First off i would like to apologies for my actions that occurred a few months ago within the city.

I now fully understand the reason for banning and regret my actions. This ban appeal will not be full of excuses or me blaming others. I admit to my actions and would like to be given a second chance in which i will not let you down if granted.


I was banned due to combat logging. This was due to me leaving my PC while out the house. I went to the pub to collect my pool que as i had left it there the night before. I thought i would have enough time to go and collect it and then return before engaging in any RP. This was not the case as while there i decided to stay, forgetting about my character in city. This was a spur of the moment choice and i did not take into consideration the event unfolding within the city. This then caused me to be knocked unconscious and miss vital RP scenes in which i should of been a part of. Upon return i realized what had happened and decided to log out of the city while not fully understanding this is against rule C2.3 and considered as combat logging.

This is my own fault and i should of given the rules a full read before joining the city. I accept full responsibility for my actions and have now made attempts to rectify my mistakes by going over the rules with a fine toothcomb and learning/understanding them all.
Why should we unban you: I have given the rules a thorough inspection and have a full grasp of them all. I am an avid Roleplayer in other cities and love to spend time with my friends within the city as we have really good quality RP. As stated previously i have come along way in my journey within Fivem and spend a long time within other cities. The Roleplay.co.uk server is by far the best of them all thus why i wish to remigrate back to this. I take full responsibility for my actions and accept any decision in which is made on my appeal.

In conclusion to this appeal i understand what i did was wrong and i can assure you that in the future i will uphold the rules of the city.

I thank the staff member that deals with this and hope to become a citizen of the roleplay.co.uk community again.

I remember this ban after reading your appeal very clearly;

Personally I think it's very odd timing that you go down at 20:33 and log out again at 20:41, it's almost as if you were there and got fed up so logged out.
For you to have come back home exactly 8 minutes after being downed and then choosing to close your game completely just doesn't make much sense.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for the reply

Now please bare with me here as this happened a few months ago now. When i came home i was already downed and not knowing how it happened or what RP had took place i decided to Alt F4 my game instead of waiting this out. I completely understand how from a staff POV and timing POV this looks really sus and i totally agree it does. I don't have any justification for the timings and I'm not going to try and lie my way out of it. I'm being completely honest i was AFK at this point. When i came back i decided to log out. I understand this was considered as combat logging now but didn't fully understand at the time that this was considered that due to me not being in combat (or so i think, I'm actually unsure of what RP took place)

Now i understand that my appeal has changed throughout and you raise a good point. I will admit that in my previous appeals i was not 100% honest. I didn't understand what i had been banned for as i didn't give the rules a read. After fully understanding them and giving them a read i now know what i have done and accept the decision that was made thus why i have not appealed for awhile after the first one. I understand that i should of received a ban for this and i believe that after all these months i am now ready to return to the city. I also know that i should of just been honest from the start not used the "my brother did it" excuse as stated in the ban appeal process lmao. For this i can only apologies but I'm here now to try and correct my actions.

I understand what i did Danoo and I'm not bringing this appeal to your attention to make excuses or to try and lie my way back into the city. I understand my actions and take full accountability for them. I just hope that i can return to the city one day as i really do love this roleplaying community and have met some really good people here.

Indeed it is, thank you for asking.

I will admit that in my previous appeals i was not 100% honest.

The thing is, if you were not 100% honest in your first appeal, how can I essentially trust any word you're saying at the moment?
Appealing your ban is really the only chance you've got of proving you're a player we'd want back into this community, starting it off being dishonest doesn't help the case one bit.

I didn't understand what i had been banned for as i didn't give the rules a read.

Just to confirm, you're saying that you didn't know logging out whilst downed would fall under combat logging at the time?

Thank you for taking the time to give this a read. I know the staff members are busy so i appreciate you taking the time to pick this up with me.


To answer your first question i understand that i should of been honest throughout the whole process and i admit to not being honest. It has been awhile now since i was banned so i had a lot of time to reflect upon my actions and that is why I'm here now to make amends on them. I am truly sorry for lying within my first appeals. I know that this is something in which i shouldn't of done and I'm truly sorry for my actions here.


To answer your second question -
When i first saw the rule around combat logging i thought it literally meant that "logging off while in combat" - For example if somebody is shooting me and i log off so i don't die. Of course when i read the full rule in detail i now understand that isn't the case. This is the reason i haven't appealed in a long time as i understand and fully accept the original ban.

In conclusion i am very sorry for my actions and i understand where i have gone wrong. Moving forward if unbanned i promise to uphold every single rule and my own integrity towards the whole community. Thank you for hearing me out.

Hi Hank,

Thank you for taking the time to respond

To answer your question around combat logging i now know that this is an umbrella term for a range of things. I will give 3 example below so you are confident that i understand what this is:

- If i were to log out while downed in RP due to being shot or other warfare this is considered combat logging as I'm trying to guard my resources or gain an advantage over the other RPers
- If i were to log out while I'm being arrested. This is classed as combat logging as I'm trying to avoid punishment or repercussions for my actions.
- The final example i will give is if i become downed due to say starving to death or some other non violent way and i was awaiting a medic but couldn't be bothered waiting and logged out this would also be classed as combat logging.

I hope this gives you confidence that i now understand this rule and regret my actions. I want to assure you that there will never be a reoccurrence of this event. I hope the fact that I'm still here appealing after serving a long time on my ban shows how dedicated and how much i love to RP

First off, thank you for the effort you have put into your appeal, we appreciate it.

Now, I am willing to give you a second chance and unban you today, but the fact that lied at first does put a damper on your record. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, but any ban within the next 6 months will be permanent again and you will have very slim chances of coming back.

Read over the rules again and make sure you understand them fully. Do not waste this chance.
