Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for C2.2 (exploiting) "3rd person shooting" , I will openly take full accountability to doing on a few occasions whether it be on locals or just mucking about at stupid times . I've come to the realisation that what I've done is not the greatest and I've been punished for that.

I do not believe I did it to gain an advantage in any roleplay scenario or combat situation for that point, to my knowledge I might have shot at friends as joke but never used to interfere with anyone's roleplay. I can only apologise for what I have done and if I was to be given another chance I can whole heartedly say that I would not be stupid and do this again even if it is just a joke and I know now it clearly shouldn't be done.
Why should we unban you: This is the first ever time that I have received an exploiting ban as I do not believe that getting the upper hand on people makes the server fun or even enjoyable one bit. If I was to be given the chance to come back to the server, I can promise that I would not repeat my actions and If I was to find anything that I believe was an upper hand on other players I would contact the correct people or put in a ticket to stop this happening in the future. Due to this ban I can see the consequences that come along with these actions, I know that this is not the greatest outcome due to just coming off of ban, I am trying to improve myself and make sure that I am not banned again as I do enjoy playing on this server and being able to socialise with the community.

I would also like to add that throughout the 2 or so years I've been on the server I've always provided good roleplay, per example I have worked at ae for nearly a year and a half this has allowed me to interact with hundreds of people and provide quality RP ,may this be through doing car upgrades or servicing multiple factions such as NHS and police, I also have assisted and Held events at AE . I always try my best to uphold the quality of my RP to ensure all parties involved enjoy what I provide.

my character has also been apart of multiple whitelisted listen groups: cypress and Ballas where I have provided unique RP , I have been involved in many different scenarios whether it was taking part in criminal activities, providing medical assistance, negotiating an many more.

Hello @Danoo thank you for your response, In regards to your question the only reason I would have done it is, as I mentioned above, I did not use it in a fighting scenario that gave me an advantageous position over another player meaning I did not realise the severity of my actions.

Having this time off I have been thinking about my actions and realised that it is about more than just that. I understand that this rule has been put in place as you (staff) feel that it is the best for the server and therefore I should adhere to this regardless of the scenario that I am in friendly or not.

From this I hope you can see that I have not done this with malicious intent and I do heavily regret my actions. As I have been on the server for around two years and have spent a lot of hours on it is clearly one that I enjoy and I do take the rules seriously, so given a second chance I can guarantee I would not be doing something so stupid again to compromise me being able to play on the server again, thank you for taking the time to read and consider my appeal.

What do you mean by "Mucking about at stupid times", haven't you already received a ban for this previously?

Thank you for the quick response.
When I say Mucking about I mean shooting locals or shooting someone without the intention of downing them which as I said previously I know is still unacceptable and breaking a rule, it's just maybe at the time I was not seeing the bigger picture.
As to your question about being banned for this before, I have never been banned for exploiting. One of my previous bans you could label as mucking about but I believe they are of different nature. I received those rightfully and took them seriously.
This ban has made me realise to always be mindful of all your actions regardless of how innocent the intent may be, to ensure the server is played correctly at all times and to not impact anyone else's experience.

I appreciate the clarification on this, and yes, I was referring to your ban for mucking around late at night in MRPD previously hence wanting some clarification on the matter.
You mentioned throughout the 2 years you've been here the roleplay provided by yourself has been good, I don't disagree with this at all.
What I want to understand is, why is this good roleplay taking such a dip recently. You've had a few warnings in the past, however nothing too major.

We're 6 months into 2024 and you've currently stacked up the following;

09/06/2024 - Permanent ban for C2.2 (Current)
22/05/2024 - 7 Day ban for G2.6
01/05/2024 - Kicked G2.6
09/04/2024 - Kicked for G6
20/02/2024 - 2 Day ban for G4.4 & G2.3 (Mucking around in early hours of the morning)
15/02/2024 - 1 Day ban for G1.2
13/02/2024 - Warning for G2.3 (Mucking around in early hours of the morning)

You've had 13 interactions with staff in total (This being warnings or bans) which are spread out from 2022 until now. 7 of these have been acquired during this first 6 months of this year, I think it's more than safe to say that your rule breaking is becoming far more frequent.

Why has there been such a dip, I'm half tempted to give you a cooldown as it seems you could do with a short break from here.

As I mentioned I believe the MRPD ban is of different nature to this one. The difference being with this one I believe it was a lack of awareness or a lack of concentration if you will as I felt not doing this with malicious intent would not be affecting anyone's rp experience, but as mentioned above, I now realise there is more to it than just my intentions. The MRPD ban is one I am least proud of and I took full accountability for. That one was me at my worst and I can assure you I will not be stooping that low again.

I can see fully where you are coming from with the amount of staff interactions I have had this year and this is poor on my part. All I can say is that none of them has hit me harder than a permanent ban. This one has made me realise that no amount of mucking about is worth losing a place on this server that I love and that has been a big part of my life over the last few years.

Ultimately any decision you decide I will understand and all I can do at this point is give you my word that given another chance I will double think any decisions I make before doing it and focus all my time and energy on high quality RP. Adding to this what I believe will help me achieve this is I have recently left a gang so now all my time will be focused on building quality RP rather than fighting and upholding reputations, getting back to the former and better version of myself like I was before this year's blip.

I'm going to be honest with you, you have a very difficult ban history to consider more chances.
While your bans might not have been our of malice or intentional rule breaks, you really must start thinking about your actions because these chances are limited.
I'm offering you a golden chance, Kay.

Be very mindful of what perspective you're in (first or third-person perspective) while shooting - While we understand it can happen accidentally, you still have a part in the responsability not to pull the trigger the moment you realize what state your character is in. Should it happen, you are to inform staff - ideally provide a recording, in a 'FiveM-Ticket' on Discord!


- Remember that any ban from this point on, within six months of today, will land you back in this section as per FBS.
- If you're banned again, within that six month period, you'll fall onto an automatic 5 month cooldown.
- Bans will be more likely than warnings, within this six month period, for any rule break.


To add onto this, given your ban history, appealing another ban will be about as easy as riding an elephant across the pacific ocean.
