In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Hello! I was banned for combat logging (which I knew is bannable) yesterday. It all happened because of a difficult situation, lots of misunderstanding and frustration. Me and my friend we're in the hospital waiting to respawn. As my friend's respawn timer got up and he had the chance to ''wake up'' again, a person came randomly and stabbed my friend while I was still waiting to respawn. As we were already frustrated that my friend was shanked right after he got up, I started carrying my friend to the check-in local when suddenly another person came and stabbed me as well - I dropped my friend and tried to run, but couldn't make it and was stabbed as well. Ever since I was too far away to check in, another player came and said ''It's all good'' and asked permission to carry me. As I understood from his tone, I was certain that he was trying to help me and let me check in. Instead of that, he carried me into his vechile and started driving off. I tried to use the OOC for admin's help but it didn't work (that's my problem). As frustrated as I already was, I thought spontaniously that the only chance I have left in order to not lose all of my things was to log off. Now I completely understand that instead of breaking the rules myself, I should've just waited and reported the player and the situation would've solved more easily. I am very sorry from my behalf for breaking the rules and I completely understand that combat logging is not acceptable. It's sad that it came to a misunderstanding like this.

Why should we unban you ?: roleplay.co.uk has been THE MOST fun I've had in videogames. In my opinion the commuinity is just brilliant and people have their own characters. I also have a character which I never break and it seems to me that people really enjoy my accent and overall vibe. In the past week I have contributed 30+ hours to this server and I really hope I can contribute much more ever since this server is so much fun. Building up a business with friends and playing a restricted, realistic mod of GTA 5 has always been a dream for me to do (I literally bought GTA on computer only for RP ). I am very sorry from my behalf and I hope that my unban appeal could be acceptable.

So why did you combat log and not just report the player? Especially when you knew this was going to get you banned.

Hey, @Bowen! Thank You for getting back to me.

I completely understand where this question is coming from. The reason I combat logged at this moment was just due to the ongoing situation and my mistaken response to it. I didn't quite think the situation through (once again, I know that this is completely my problem). In my head it was sort of a ''one crosses the other out'' type of situation in which I thought that if I'm ''done dirty'' then I could just push it back and solve it with an admin later. Clearly, that was a bad decision (and a good lesson for me as well), I should've handled the situation correctly by reporting the player and this ban wouldn't have come to me. Once again, I am sorry from my behalf, for causing all of this headache for the admins in this forum but at least I once again learned that things should be done correctly from the beginning, because that keeps away regrets that would come in later. I am familiar with the rules and I know that this mistake will not be repeated by me.

Ok so I am going to quote something from the notes in your ban

Was considering reducing it to a timed ban, but in my attempt to reach another staff member for a second opinion, he made it clear that he did not agree with a timed ban either, and that I was wasting his time.

Could you shed some light on this?

Hey, @Bowen! Thanks for getting back to me again.

Indeed. I had a chat with the admin. My apologies to the admin I was talking to - I'm sad I was interpreted that way. Before I mentioned that I made this stupid decision (to leave in the first place) out of frustration and thinking that one would cross out the other. With this mindset, I was trying to explain myself to the admin I was talking to. When we were talking about the ban, I said, that I wouldn't like to agree with any ban (ever since at that moment I was completely convinced that one would cross out the other). Now I am completely convinced, once again, that even saying that was a dumb mistake from me and if possible, I would thank the admin for considering me a timed ban (and apologise for not accepting his generousity). 

About wasting time: as I mentioned before, that I was sure, that ever since I was done dirty, the situation could be solved without a ban. I am sorry if I was interpreted that way, what I wanted to say was that I didn't want to waste the admins time. But still, I understand, the admins word has much more weight than mine. This was foul acting by me. Rather than  only justifying myself, I would once again apologise to the admin I was talking to.

Looking back at the situation, I would've accepted the timed ban (because rules are rules and I shouldn't forget that). Obviously I should've listened to the admin, who was also very kind to me.I am very thankful to You, Bowen, for looking into my case.

I hope that my unban appeal will be taken into consideration. I would love to be a part of your commuinity.
