In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Good Evening Staff I trust all is well,

I am writing my first unban appeal for Roleplay.co.uk and acknowledge that I broke "C1.7 common sense" rule and my actions had negative consequences on the gameplay experience of other players. Furthermore, I would like to apologize to Kash & Drex for any disrespect that I may have shown towards them during the incident and general unneeded toxicity at the time. Personal problems were affecting most things around me but are no excuse for the actions and things I did not mean to say. I would respectfully prefer to keep my personal problems to myself if this is not an issue. Firstly, I want to take full responsibility for my actions. I understand that I made a mistake by breaking the common sense rule on the forums and I apologize for any disruption and inconvenience I may have caused to anyone. Additionally, I want to acknowledge that my behaviour towards Drex & Kash were completely disrespectful and uncalled for. My actions were inappropriate and did not reflect the values of the community.

Why should we unban you ?: Since the ban, I have taken the time to focus on my general mental health and have educated myself on the importance of respecting the rules of the community and in game. I now fully understand the effectiveness as to why the 6 month cooldown system process is in place as it gives plenty of time to reflect and regret actions made. I want to assure you that I am committed to changing my behaviour and being a positive contributor to the server. I understand that trust needs to be earned, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to regain the trust of the staff and the community. I am open to suggestions on how I can make amends for my past actions. In conclusion, I hope that you will consider lifting my ban and giving me the opportunity to prove myself as a valuable member of the community. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal.

If the server is “shit”, why do you want to come back? Most who say that, don’t return…why do you want to?

Thanks for the quick response Liam. I stated this at the time of the report as I was unhappy with the state of myself and took my anger out on the server. “The server is shit” is a completely untrue statement of which I wish I never wrote or shared with anyone as it reflects badly on myself and the community. Having 6 months to reflect on my statements and actions, it has enabled me to think how I can better myself for the community and handle situations more professionally then childish. I started playing RPUK at the beginning of January last year and have complete confidence in my RP scenarios and general stories of which I enjoyed and others I hope so too. This however does not help the fact I disrespected RPUK as a whole with my statements and wish to gain that trust back from staff and members as mentioned in my appeal above. I am not great at putting thoughts into writing so I hope this describes accurately that I have learnt from my mistakes and would never make these actions again.

If your mental health takes a hit in the future, how do we know that you won’t pick up where you left off and go down the same route again?

Having the 6 months to reflect my problems and mental health it has been an effective lesson to me in many ways. I can guarantee if this were to happen again I would take a break from the server and isolate myself completely to give myself the time to focus on myself fully. If I begin to feel any sort of mental barriers I will take the steps necessary to manage my symptoms and build resilience for the future. This has been my first permanent ban from RPUK and I do not wish to violate the Terms and conditions again.

Hi Liam,

I have not apologised to him personally and would be willing to in a call if that’s the idea you had in mind. I have never spoken to Kash verbally outside of the server.

That sounds more like a forced apology over than you are generally sorry about the abuse you gave him on the report a player, and wanting to apologise to him for your actions. Due to the fact that you haven't worked up the courage to do that yet, I'll be denying this and hope you appeal after you've apologised directly to Kash for your actions.
