Unban Appeal for James Charger

Reason given for your ban: G2.9

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: I was banned today the 23rd of June because me and a friend of mine transferred money through characters. I was banned because I broke the rule G2.9 which is transferring money or items between our own characters. Which is one of the worst rules we could break. I was banned because I was stupid and didnt think it through. Breaking that rule can destroy RP.

Why should we unban you ?: I think you should unban me because I've been in this community for a long while... yes I have been banned once before for combatloggin which I truly regret doing and now being banned again I know does not look good. But to be fair I see myself as an honest person which learns by his mistakes. I love roleplay.co.uk and have different characters a lot of people know. I always RP with a smile and make sure people have a good RP experience by doing my best. People do mistakes and I've now done 2, I truly regret it and have read through the rules a few more times to make sure I never do any rule break anymore.
If you do give me the chance, I promise that I will never break any rule again and make sure I'll provide the best RP you can imagine. I love the community and admins and the people are so nice. The admin who even banned me was an awesome person. That's what I like about this community, no power hungry people and always a fun experience. On my characters I've got 1 G6 worker and 2 criminals which I always think about playing as when im not ingame. This has been my favourite server of all time when playing GTA RP and I would hate to lose that.

Indeed being banned prior doesn't look the best knowing that you should of read the rules during that ban and prior to it even being issued. You've been here for over a year at this point and received two permanent bans and a warning. From someone that has established themselves within the community it is embarrassing to see that the simple things are hard to follow as you should of known better. 

If you are saying you won't break any more rules, Why does it take a permanent ban to come to this realisation? Why didn't you follow the rules prior to breaking this one after your last ban? 

Reading over the appeal you've mentioned you are an honest person, That you want to come back and characters you have BUT the thing you fail to mention is why you broke the rules that got you here. In your own words you are an honest person, Why did you break this rule with your friend?

Thank you for your reply and for giving me the chance to explain myself.

It did take a permanent ban to come to this realisation as I've learned over the years, that you do not truly see how much you miss a thing before its lost.

Me not following the rule which lead me to my last ban was just me being stupid and I've never broken that rule after.

 I broke this one after my last ban for one reason, I wanted my friend to play more on the server so I did help him break the rule of G2.9. I always like having an extra bud to roleplay with and tried my best to make him play more. This I now know was stupid and I if you do decide to give me one last chance I would make sure no rule will be broken again, and if I do (which I won't) perm ban me without parole. 

 
So the way to encourage people to play on the server is helping break the rules that we have there for all players? There are many ways to encourage others to play for example the roleplay, So why wasn't this done? 

I agree, You don't miss something until it's gone. Now this does lead to another question, You was aware that this was against the rules prior to you doing this correct? 

So why did you and your friend decide to break this rule and transfer the money, What was so important you and your friend needed the money you risked a permanent ban?

I agree that there's maaaany other ways to encourage others to play than breaking rules.

Why this wasn't done was me just being stupid and taking the fast route.

I was aware that it was not allowed yes, we both knew this. We took a risk and got caught and I truly regret it. 

There was no important reason for why we did this, my friend just wanted to flip a house for some extra money but it was not worth it at all. Why I even thought of helping him was stupid from my side and risking a ban for 160k is not worth it at all.

 
So upon looking into the information behind the ban, You informed the staff member you talked to that multiple people said this was alright to be doing, However now you knew it was against the rules before doing it? What's the truth here as from looking you lied to a staff member upon talking with them on the day of the ban.

Lets say we give you another chance, What would happen if you was to take the fast route next time to help a friend play within the community?

Yes that is correct, I did think that it was allowed if it was rp-ed through others characters  beforehand which I was told by someone a long while ago. I was aware that transferring through your own characters wasnt allowed. I was basically not thinking straight, I knew about the rule and tried "bypassing" it somehow which wasnt smart. So to be frankly, I knew the rule but I thought we could do it that way. Now I am fully aware that under no circumstanses should money be transferred through characters.

If you gave me an another chance I would never take the fast route again. Mark my word. If it somehow happened (which it wont) I would gladely take a ban as it would be my 3rd ban. If given a new chance I would not take the fast route and instead do it the proper way by me and my friend grinding for ex taxi on our own characters and not transfer the money to other characters.

 
Can you quote the rule you broke to get you here and explain in your own words why you believe we have such rule in place. Could you also explain how you believed you thought it was allowed through roleplay?

G2.9 is the rule which stops players from transferring money or items between your own characters by any possible method. This is enforced to stop people from abusing different characters position. For example; 1 character as a police officer earning paychecks / having items with another character not having any items / money. Sending these through different characters breaks rp. It would make no sense for a police officer to give his whole paycheck and/or  items to the other character. It's also to stop people from abusing creating new characters for starter money to give it to their "main character".

I believed it was allowed through RP because of for example you giving your brother a loan for a house so he could buy his own house. But I now know this isnt how it works and it would not work like this in real life by transferring to me which he did and me giving it to his brother afterwards.

 
Well from an outset going from the rules, Your character doesn't know anything about the other characters, Main reason is they cannot ever meet in any RP setting as you are both players, So logically the whole Brother, Cousin ect doesn't work. 

With these types of bans comes a few things, One is a full character wipe. What I mean by this is you will lose all vehicles, money, inventory ect... Since you have three characters, Two will be deleted, This is up to you what character you wish to keep and not ect. Do you agree to this? 

 
No problem, I'll go ahead and request the other two characters to be deleted and for James Green to get a full wipe. Please note this will take some time however once this has been done we will finish up the appeal then issue the unban for yourself.
